How good is this! It’s what you should expect in 2024. A playbook to increase your opportunity to experience the vibe anticipated in this environment. Lesson: Set rules early to negate preconceived and old ways of playing and behaving. Challenge: Out with the old and in with the new! There's no doubt if you’re leading a high-performing team, your relationships are bound on agreed strengths, known to increase the vibe that permeates results and outcomes that make an impact. Golf is set in its traditions set in St Andrews, Scotland yet every few years it rewrites or creates new rules (5 rules in 2023) and here in Melbourne’s east, Morak Public Golf Course is serving a multigenerational audience with a new simple set of rules to enjoy golf. Bravo Whitehorse City Council and the team and its members at the Morak Public Golf Club for providing such a contemporary space and vibe. P.S. How you approach your Playbook will determine its acceptance, application, and achievement. I can help you successfully create your playbook. #golf #customerexperience #performance #relationships

Dillon Fay, founder and owner of Sweet Heat Golf and Long Drive, is a putting and business master. ⛳ Sweet Heat is an indoor golf training facility in Spanish Fork for players to have quality one-on-one training or personal practice time. Dillon has a trusted swing in the industry — he is currently the tournament director for the Utah/Nevada league of Ultimate Long Drive and hosts events year-round. “Sweet Heat was started by my desire to work for myself and share a skill I have which I saw a market for,” Dillon says. “My long-term goal is to make high-level golf instruction convenient and accessible for everyone, and to be a household name in the golf industry and grow the sport of long-drive.” Get on the green with Dillon! 🏌️ Q: Share a fun fact about yourself! A: I never made the golf team in junior high or high school — I got cut every year! Last year I was fortunate enough to make the World Golf Teachers Federation Top 50 Instructors list, which only included 8 instructors from the USA. Q: What is the most rewarding part of your career? A: Seeing my students’ progress. In the last year alone, they’ve won a combined six events all over the globe, including a world championship, and had multiple appearances on the Golf Channel. Q: What has been a challenge? A: Learning the sides of the business that aren’t golf-related and learning to scale the business. I’m still learning every day. Q: What advice would you give to a recent college grad pursuing a similar path? A: Seeing as I have never attended a college class in any capacity, I’d tell them you don’t need college. Honing your craft and being the best at what you do is what people really care about at the end of the day. When I was starting, I would hand out business cards to random people at the golf shop or at the driving range and grind out any lessons I could find. I had a product to prove, and that’s all I tried to do. When it comes to pursuing a passion and running a business, grind and golf. 👏 #golfinstructor #utahvalleybusiness #utahgolf #golfchannel #entrepreneur #worldgolfteachers #longdrive #businessadvice

𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐥: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 It stands to reason that golfers who receive coaching improve more quickly than those who try to figure this maddening game out all for themselves. But The PGA's Golf for All research, in partnership with Ipsos, goes further than that – it shows that there is a correlation between golfers taking lessons and those who play more and are more engaged with the game. This is crucially important for the industry to realise. Our research also explores: ✅ Which golfers are less likely to keep taking lessons ✅ The appetite for all golfers to take lessons ✅ How better golfers are more interested in taking lessons ✅ What the key factors are in taking lessons Read more ➡️ https://ow.ly/uP9v50TzOJs Sign up for the newsletter: https://ow.ly/kHVk50SRQBS Join us on LinkedIn: https://ow.ly/M80a50SRQBT Watch GBQ TV with Sir Nick Faldo: https://ow.ly/GkWm50TzOrP

Summer is here. More people want to find ways to get onto the golf course. Gonna do some signal boosting for people and causes I think are going to shake things up. 1.) Liz Harwood FAMARA Limited 13) Jack Raymondson I value cooperation as well as competition. The thing is, even though we all compete for visibility, at the end of the day we all care about getting people more active. Whether it's golf, or just fitness and wellness in general, these brands and people that I've highlighted in this post care about people. They care, not about the bottom line, but about the people that these products affect in the end. Marketing tribalism is a toxic thing, and the moment that we realize that we can all thrive, and as a shout out to a buddy of mine, EVERYBODY EATS.

Very interesting read. Still see some parallels from 1967 to today.
Looking back to the May 1967 issue of Golfdom, a Minnesota superintendent shares his thoughts on the “golf course superintendent supply squeeze.” 👇🏻

Ready to give a free lesson to every golfer that walks into your facility? Great! Let's all grab a Certified PGA Pro, pay them for 10hrs of lessons each day and let them do their thing! Problem solved. Hmmm, that's a really expensive and time consuming solution. There has to be a better way! Yup. Adding educational signage to specific practice areas can have nearly the same effect, at a fraction of the cost. Picture this: As guests are welcomed into your facility, they are reminded that the fundamentals are the "secret" to building a skill and fixing it when it starts to get wonky. Then by the putting green, they are engaged with a question about what they plan to practice...See where this is going? Don't know where to start? Ask us how we can help. Already have great educational messaging as part of your brand? Use the hashtag #freeTheFundamentalsGolf to post how your facility is making the fundamentals UNAVOIDABLY VISIBLE to your golfers in a way that all ages can understand. Looking forward to seeing the creative solutions! We will be posting the results as part of our PGA Show '25 presence, so show us what your brand can do! #fromgolfwithlove #golf #golfbusiness #business #golftechnology #golfswing #freeTheFundamentalsGolf
