A time for reflection on my 49th Birthday! 🎉 5 years today I left a great company 🦁 where I had worked really hard for 10 years, in the latter years I worked tirelessly to streamline the way in which the Design office delivered projects for the customers. I had a couple of great people to help and guide me along the way and thanks to them. Mark Jowett Phil Jasper I had always said to myself that once I had reached a level in the business that I would move on and look to try and do something for myself. MACS Draughting Ltd was formed! So within the first year, we didn’t expect COVID to hit the world in the first 6 mths but thanks to all the customers we had secured projects with, we got through it! 🍀 👏 You wouldn’t believe the amount of meetings we had at first when people got word of what we were trying to set up. We were sent so many projects to price from other companies so that they would understand our pricing structure……we inflated them! 😂 👀 We were promised this and promised that, we worked with these and worked with those, but they showed their true colours in the end. 👋 In all the controversy, we are still here and we are immensely proud of what we have built. We have learnt a great deal about the industry from another side. Honesty is something we pride ourselves on, in hindsight we were probably a little too honest at first but I suppose you learn from your mistakes. 🤷♂️ Today, we have a really good team and have a much better and more varied client base now than we ever have. We provide solutions for customers and we truly understand the meaning of trusted working relationships. Well, I wouldn’t change a thing……. I haven’t done it alone and here’s to the next 5 years!
