1. Taking this EFMP survey made me more emotional than I anticipated. I think it is easy to overlook some of the issues when they aren't all put together in one place like this. Ironically, after I took this survey, I was alerted that MHS Genesis is down, so now none of the medications that are controlled can be filled. Take the survey.
2. You may be saying, but Kayla, you also have a survey out right now. Yes, yes, I do, and I still want you to take both. Organizations like the one I created and Exceptional Families of the Military are here to create real impact. The responses and stories we collect will not sit in a media kit. Our boots-on-the-ground efforts use them to highlight what is going right and wrong. The information is used to demonstrate a need and inform policy. These surveys are the way that The Operation Child Care Project and other spouse-led organizations show that what we are fighting for is relevant.

Part of our Mission at Exceptional Families of the Military is to elevate the voices of families. Not all families feel comfortable sharing their personal stories publicly, but they do have important stories to share. So, we have launched our 2nd Annual EFMP survey. We use the data collected from the survey to educate the DoD, DHS, and Congress on what it really means to be an EFMP family. This survey should take about 10 minutes and is meant to be easy to complete, given our stressful lives. If you are not an EFMP family but are connected to the military, please share this survey with your network.
