Vice President of Sales and Marketing | Healthcare leader committed to changing the face of FFS healthcare, one patient at a time
Single as a pringle! So celebrating any anniversary I can! ๐คฃ In all seriousness, this is an anniversary worth celebrating. A year ago, I found a place that I fit into professionally within an organization I will champion for as long as I am able! Find you a job that: 1. Listens to and supports you 2. Wants to hear even your worst ideas 3. Makes sure you know you are valued as an employee 4. Will support your personal growth goals 5. Will invest in your professional development, knowing that it could mean that investment could move on to another organization someday 6. Values your input 7. Demands exceptional quality not only from you, but also themselves (rare!) 8. Cares about the realities of life separate from the business 9. Takes genuine interest in what you bring to the table 10. Cares less about the bottom line than they do the person-level impact they are making as a whole We all have had good jobs, great jobs, bad jobs and horrible jobs. Without question I can say joining A-S Medication Solutions was the greatest thing I ever could've done. My professional heart's desire is to make a lasting difference in at least one patient's life. With ASM, mission already accomplished. And the future is full of opportunities to do it over and over and over again. Care about what you do. Care about who you do it with. And be a part of an organization that allows you to care about why you do it. Striving to deliver: Better access resulting in better adherence which leads to an overall better patient experience. -- ASM #betteroutcomes #betterhealth #patientexperience

Becker's Hospital Review asked 76 C-suite executives from hospitals and health systems across the U.S. to share their focus for the remainder of the year. Unsurprisingly, streamlining processes and digital innovation topped the list. In our digital-centric world, it's noteworthy that while these leaders have multiple priorities, they never lose sight of focusing on people. Nearly half of the executives emphasized staffing or employee well-being as a core focus. Garrett South, Senior Leader of Patient Experience at Dignity Health, California Hospital Medical Center, highlighted the importance of sparking joy in patient experience by recharging and re-energizing staff. Leong Koh, MD, President and CEO of Northwest Permanente, is excited about opening the new Center for Black Health and Wellness in Portland, aiming to deliver culturally competent care for Black members. Peggy Duggan, MD, Executive Vice President, Chief Physician Executive, and Chief Medical Officer of Tampa General Hospital, stressed the importance of reconnecting with our mission. She asked a crucial question: "Can we all stop for a few minutes every day and remind ourselves of our mission?" Mark Gridley, President and CEO of FHN Memorial Hospital, also emphasized the need for providers, leaders, and staff to work on their resiliency and reconnect to their 'healthcare why,' ensuring they have the energy to finish the year strong and start the next year well-prepared. Anthony Ashby, Interim President of CHI Health Immanuel, focused on their Wildly Important Goal (W.I.G.) to be the best place to work, showcasing a clear commitment to staff well-being. Steve Davis, MD, President and CEO of Cincinnati Children's, Inovalon's success story spotlight, is committed to the ethical implementation of AI, ensuring that ethical considerations remain at the forefront of their innovations. It's clear that while digital advancements are essential, these leaders are equally dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging environment for their teams. https://ow.ly/a2BE30sFeq8

Enabling Manufacturers to Cut Freight Costs and Reduce Damage | Freight Broker | Excel Wizard | Automotive Industry Aficionado
Today is my last day with Mรถlnlycke Health Care / Mรถlnlycke Health Care US. Iโm leaving the best job Iโve ever had. After 3 years, 2 months, and 17 days, Iโm leaving the best company that Iโve ever worked for. This is madness, to leave a stable job at a company with a competitive product that actually makes the world a better place. In my job, I was able to help reduce our carbon footprint and to ensure our products arrived into (and onto) the hands that need them in the most timely and efficient manner possible. I am barraged with different emotions. When I log off one last time and hand in my equipment before departing, I donโt know if Iโll shed tears, break out into song, or just collapse back into my chair. Iโve spent so many sleepless nights thinking about what Iโm doing, worrying about all of the open topics that I leave behind, fearing that all of the hard work and passion that Iโve invested into making this company better could be completely reversed beginning on Monday morning. Iโve also felt excitement for a new upcoming opportunity that will require me to develop a new skillset, challenging me in ways that Iโve never been challenged before. This new opportunity comes with the promise of more time with family and the ability to check off items on my bucket list, some of which will strengthen relationships within my family. Yet, this is a big risk. Itโs a calculated risk, but there could be just as much the possibility of great success as there could be the possibility of massive failure. If the latter happens, then Iโll acknowledge that I tried and failed. But at least I tried. If I donโt give it a shot, then Iโll always wonder what could have been. At least if I try, Iโll know. Iโll share this new challenge when Iโm ready, but for now, I have to extend my deepest thanks to all of my amazing colleagues at Mรถlnlycke. There are so many great people there, but there are some in particular that have completely changed my life. These people helped me to do my job so much better than I could have otherwise. They helped me to add more value, both to the company and to my own position. They helped me to develop my skillset. They made me a better person. I know that Iโve left the company in better condition than I found it, but I also know that thatโs because of the support that Iโve received from so many of you out there. I donโt want to tag any names here, because I know Iโll leave too many out or will end up tagging 100 people! Thank you, Mรถlnlycke team. From the bottom of my pea-pickinโ heart, thank you so much for changing my life and for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful, global family for a few fleeting moments in my life. Cheers Adjรถ Au revoir

Talent Acquisition strategy leader with a passion for DEI, leadership coaching, and workforce strategy innovation.
As I reflect on over eight months at Kaiser as a returning employee, I wanted to share my journey. Initially, I hesitated due to some lingering PTSD from my experiences at previous companies. Announcing a new job, meeting new coworkers, and embracing new experiences is always exciting, especially when you reach milestones that make you look forward to whatโs next. However, I must acknowledge that many of my former colleagues have faced job loss after only a few months. With this in mind, Iโd like to focus not on my tenure or past experiences but on how Iโve grown as a professional this past year. Returning to Kaiser, I anticipated some nostalgia and excitement about reuniting with old colleagues and the security of being in familiar territory. My career has largely been in corporate functions/G&A, but now, I find myself in the nurse leadership space. While I had some exposure to this area in the past, I didnโt have direct experience with those I had to lead, which presented a new challenge for me. Previously, although I understood our mission, I wasnโt deeply connected to it. My focus was on recruiting roles that ensured we could collect payments from members and provide resources for our employees. Now, I see that patient care is at the core of what I do. Itโs crucial to hire the best people to support our employees, our members, and my own family. These past eight months have been filled with new experiences. Iโve found comfort in my teammates, the team I lead, and the leaders I partner with. This environment has taught me to channel my 20 years of experience to ensure weโre doing our best for the people who rely on us. Unlike my previous posts, this one isnโt about the impact Iโm making but rather what Iโm learning and appreciating on this journey as a talent acquisition leader. Itโs not always about the bottom line or the projects; sometimes, the simplicity lies in what youโre doing for the people you serve. Whether itโs your team or your community, itโs vital to feel connected to something youโre passionate about. For me, Iโve found a new passion in patient care. #kaiserpermanente #patientcarejobs #nurseleadership
