📢 New Statement on Online Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation in #France. With the advancement of technology, the spread and availability of child sexual abuse material (#CSAM) has grown explosively and exponentially worldwide. 🌐 France is currently the fifth largest Host of CSAM in the EU (Internet Watch Foundation (IWF). 🌐 CSAM reports to National Center for Missing & Exploited Children concerning France have drastically escalated with an increase of over 150% between 2020 and 2022. 🌐 In 2019, a national reporting platform found over 11,200 URLs of CSAM hosted in France. 💡 The statement delves into the rise of online child sexual abuse and exploitation in France, presenting an in-depth analysis through the experiences of survivors of childhood sexual violence and insights from research conducted on French-speaking offenders.
