DTEK Renewable Internationals DRI , DTEK's EU subsidiary, announced plans to build a 127.5 MW wind farm and Croatia's first 400/110 kV substation dedicated to renewable energy in Split, Dalmatia region. These projects mark DRI's entry into Croatia, aiming for a 500 MW wind and solar portfolio by 2028, including investments in substations and storage. The Prieska Power Reserve Project co-developed by Mahlako and CENEC, is a catalytic project that will start producing green hydrogen and ammonia in 2027/28 through a combination of high yielding renewable solar and wind energy resources, along with the other natural resources of water and air. Wind farms not only reduce emissions and contribute to a cleaner environment, but they also create jobs in the local community associated with their operation and maintenance. These are just a few reasons why BHM group invests in developing and building renewable energy sources. Through its company, BHM Renewables, the group is currently active in six countries in Central Europe and Scandinavia. In the summer of 2023, the Finnish developer, Winda Energy, from the BHM group, completed the Hallakangas wind park in the central part of Finland, near the town of Kyyjärvi. 🌊💨 Eolus has submitted the permit application to build the floating offshore wind farm Skidbladner, with up to 147 wind turbines, about 20 kilometers north of Gotska Sandön.   According to Project Manager Cornelia Hartman, Skidbladner is expected to be ready by 2033.
