The 1 million-kilowatt solar project site area of Alashan High-tech Industrial Development Zone is about 29000 mu, with a construction scale of 1 million kilowatts and a total installed capacity of 1.195 million kilowatts on the DC side. The balance between #customization and #industrialization is (maybe) not so hard to find! ☀ At #EUBuildings strategy day, organized by SolarPower Europe and SEAMLESS-PV Project, Laura Maturi from Eurac Research discussed the crucial collaboration between the building industry and PV industry and their different needs. 🏗 While mass market production is possible only through industrialization, aesthetically pleasing and successful PV building integration can only be achieved through some customization. 👉 A great collaboration example is INFINITE project, with SUNAGE, IPV manufacturer, and RUBNER, a wood building construction company, working together to develop a new integrated solution. 👉 Another example is #NEST, thanks to which Institute for Renewable Energy – Eurac Research is developing facilities to support IPV manufacturers with PV customization. #PVcustomization #bipv #buildingrenovation
