We created Test Your Biomarkers brand, website (testyourbiomarkers.org), and social media content, including lived-experience videos and kicked off a life-saving awareness and education campaign for people diagnosed with stomach cancer. Biomarkers, or biological markers, provide invaluable insights into a patient’s cancer, guiding clinicians in selecting targeted therapies that offer newfound hope and efficacy. By analyzing these biomarkers, healthcare providers can make more informed treatment decisions, ultimately leading to better long-term health outcomes for patients with stomach cancer. Oncology accounts for 43% of current and planned clinical trials. Cancer is not even a top 10 global cause of death, according to the WHO. Only in mid/high-income countries did a form of cancer (Lung, Colon) represent a top-10 cause of death. The U.S. FDA has granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation for our targeted releasing system for the treatment of patients with Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) unresponsive high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (HR-NMIBC).   Patients with this form of bladder cancer often have limited treatment options, such as repeated BCG-treatments or radical cystectomy. I’m proud to share that NEJM Group has published the primary results from the Phase 3 EV-302 trial. The results of this historic clinical trial have the potential to transform cancer care, showing that a combination treatment, including our ADC therapy, extended the lives of people diagnosed with advanced #bladdercancer. For nearly a decade, we’ve worked with Astellas Pharma US to accelerate breakthrough medicines to bring new hope to people living with genitourinary cancer, including prostate cancer. With these groundbreaking data, this ADC combination treatment for urothelial cancer offers a potential alternative to chemotherapy treatment, which has been the standard of care for 45 years.
