In partnership with The European Lotteries Association, we had the pleasure of organising the webinar "Navigating Scope 3 Emissions in the Lottery World". 🔍 The webinar highlighted the unique challenges lotteries face in managing their environmental impact. From understanding the intricacies of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions to implementing effective data collection and analysis strategies and effective plans to reduce each scope, the discussions were insightful and enlightening. 🌟 A special thank you to the panellists who shared their invaluable experiences and strategies. In 2012, I attended a Conscious Capitalism course at Esalen Institute, and it changed my life. Before then, it had never occurred to me that I could combine my dreams to do good while also putting a few bucks in my pocket. Any business can join the movement by going through this certification, not just ones that have a product that directly is purpose-driven. Since that time, I have invested much of my capital in purpose-driven businesses such as DemandQ and CelluComp Ltd. I encourage others to take a look at this way of investing and doing business. If you want any help in getting started or are interested in joining a company like these, let me know. Besides being B-Corp Certified, Scoot also has an enormously positive impact on the world. First, we help people to build stronger relationships by providing the best way to do so in virtual meetings at scale. Strong relationships are the fabric of humanity. So many good things flow from having people we love and trust in our lives. Second, when people don't travel for large scale meetings, a huge amount of natural resources are saved. The carbon impact of bring 1,000 people together in person is so big, and doing so virtually is many times less. While it will always be great to visit with people in person, it is also great to be able to act like a normal human being, move, and mingle, while in a large scale virtual meeting.

📢📰 Royal Avebe has achieved another gold EcoVadis score. This recognition places Avebe among the top 5% of assessed companies in the industry sector. EcoVadis assesses international sustainability performance in the areas of environment, human and labour rights, ethics and procurement. At Avebe, sustainability efforts are continuous; a gold EcoVadis score is a confirmation of these efforts for the entire organisation. 🥔🌱 David Fousert, CEO Avebe comments: “It is important to continue taking steps towards a sustainable Avebe for our members, customers and employees. Once again, we have worked as one Avebe team to improve our score.” In particular, the EcoVadis score increased in the human and labour rights and ethics category. Among other things, Avebe received full points for health and safety measures for employees. “Safety is and will continue to be an important topic within Avebe.
