Dear friends! After a successful mission to deliver a vehicle and several hundred kilograms of aid to 4 brigades at the front line (Pokrovsk direction, Donetsk region), Antonina Kozurak and I continue to raise funds to purchase two anti-drone jammers (one for 2 frequency ranges, and the one for 3) for the fighters from our community - Oleksandr Luchko from the 84th Mechanized Brigade and Mykola Sokyrlei from the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. These defenders are currently deployed in the hottest spots of the frontline, and any delay in receiving the equipment to shield them from enemy's "eyes" could be fatal. We are doing our best to prevent this and are already able to order the first jammer for 2 ranges of frequencies thanks to your incredible support! We just need to make a little more effort and we will fulfill this request from the front line to the fullest extent. These are vehicle-mounted devices that will completely block russian drones that are surveilling and targeting our brave guys. Today, jammers are vital at the frontline, as our military are being hunted by a whole armada of drones of the enemy, who do not count on human or technical resources - their goal is to destroy us as a country and as a nation, and to reach the borders of other states to keep everyone in fear of their savage power. Today, our troops are constantly under threat from enemy drones as they carry out critical missions on the battlefield, including the evacuation of wounded and fallen comrades. It is our duty to protect the sky above their heads! ⚡️ Pickups for mobile fire groups Together with Ukrnafta, the newly created anti-aircraft machine gun battalions 79 (❗️) were provided with off-road pickups for a total budget of 1 million 795 thousand dollars! This is speed and mobility for the safety of our defenders and each of us. Off-road pickups are the most essential on the battlefield and one of the most frequently requested by the Defense Forces, because they are the logistics of this war. And only new cars can provide an additional guarantee that the car will not fail at a critical moment and will not require constant repair. ☝️ High-quality provision of the army = life of our soldiers This time, 79 pickup trucks will reinforce anti-aircraft machine gun battalions from Sumy, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi and Chernihiv. And this is only part of the comprehensive support of the newly created military units. Mobile fire teams are an important part of our air defense. That is why the units that protect the Ukrainian sky from the enemy are in dire need of passable, fast and maneuverable vehicles. Because this is a guarantee of the safety of all Ukrainians. SWEDEN APPRECIATION POST ASC 890 will provide 🇺🇦 with a new capability against both airborne and maritime targets. 🇺🇦 capability to identify targets at long range will be strengthened. They will act as a force multiplier with the introduction of F-16. AMRAAMs will also be donated. Sweden will also donate its entire stock of armoured tracked personnel carriers (PBV 302) to support the reconstruction of new Ukrainian brigades. Sweden will also donate artillery ammunition and resources for maintenance of previously donated materiel. Sweden will also deliver surplus tank vehicles from the armed forces, maintenance of previously donated Swedish materiel, financial support to capability coalitions and to funds and temporary initiatives to enable swift and large-scale procurement of materiel to Ukraine. The Swedish Defence Research Agency will also be tasked with supporting Ukraine in establishing its own defence research institute. Furthermore, Ukraine’s command and control capability will be strengthened in the package through a donation of terminals with subscriptions for satellite communications.

💪298 pickups for the army — and that's just since the beginning of the year❗ 🚘These are new all-wheel drive Peugeot Landtrek and Mitsubishi L200, which the Come Back Alive team turned 268,725,620 hryvnias of your donations into. They were handed over to paratroopers, sappers, scouts, special forces, infantry, and mobile fire groups — "Shahed hunters." War logistics relies on pickup trucks: there are hundreds of everyday and combat tasks. Of course, trucks, trawlers, armored vehicles are "logistics of large scale or battles." But every day, tens of thousands of men and women get into their pick-up trucks and go do their job: deliver documents for the formation, food and water to the positions, evacuate the wounded or bodies casualties, deliver sappers, calculations for FPV drones, mortar or MANPADS, take a night copter-bomber to the site, scout routes and deployment sites of anti-aircraft missile systems. 📌Since February 2022, Come Back Alive has purchased a total of 1,489 new SUVs for the army. But we get more and more requests for them from combat units: the queue for pickups never drops below the mark of 250 vehicles. 🫡 The Fibrenamics Institute, in partnership with the Army's Centre for Technological Experimentation and Modernization (CEMTEx), is taking part in ARTEX24, demonstrating innovative solutions developed in the Defence sector. 🇵🇹 The Portuguese Army, through CEMTEx, is conducting the 2nd edition of ARTEX, between June 17 and July 5, at the Campo Militar de Santa Margarida, which serves as a stage for testing the prototype resulting from the Fibrenamics Institute's participation in the innovative #SmartShield project, the aim of which is to be able to monitor the damage caused by high-speed impact on multilayer composites, through the incorporation of active piezoresistive fibers within their composition. 🎯 This event, which is fundamental to the Army's operational training and maintenance, allows the 18 participants to assess the usefulness and maturity of their technological innovations in a controlled scenario. #SmartShield #ExércitoPortuguês #Defense #Protection #Fibrenamics

Wow ! Imagine having 61 forth Gen multi-role combat aircraft just sitting around in a strategic reserve ! How fortuitous. Isn’t that a terrific outcome. Hasn’t that worked out well for NATO, Ukraine and for world peace. Imagine if other countries (let’s pick one at random) say, Australia, had kept their 75 locally built (yep we built them ourselves, can you believe that !) F-18 combat aircraft ? So now Ukraine has a potent 2nd tier strike fighter to deploy. What does Australia have ? A heap of spare hangar space ? We need to keep all our old gear. If it turns out we don’t need it in 5 years time. Fantastic. Get rid of it then. (I’ll even help you load the trucks.) But…chances are that we are going to need it. We desperately need a plan for a strategic reserve.

BAE Systems Hägglunds AB has signed a contract with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, FMV - Försvarets materielverk, for new CV9035 MkIIIC vehicles, as well as associated integrated logistic support. This new contract will provide new-build CV90s to help replenish the Swedish Armed Forces’s fleet. These new CV9035 MkIIICs will replace CV9040 vehicles donated to Ukraine by the Swedish government. In addition, the Swedish government is procuring more new-build CV90 vehicles to expand Ukraine capabilities. The contract will provide the opportunity for other nations to join in the procurement of CV90MkIIICs. “These new CV9035 MkIIICs will extend the capabilities of both the Swedish and Ukrainian armies and provide crews improved combat awareness, increased mobility, protection, and lethality,” said Tommy Gustafsson-Rask, Managing Director of BAE Systems Hägglunds, which designs and produces the CV90.
