Acknowledging the Productivity Queen! It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Ms. Cluck Norris, affectionately known by many names including Mother Clucker, Cluck Kent, Attila the Hen, and Priscilla – Queen of the Hens. Ms. Norris served our factory faithfully for six years, demonstrating the utmost dedication and productivity throughout her tenure. Ms. Norris exemplified the importance of productivity in your team. She never complained, showing up every day before others even thought about getting out of bed, with the same unwavering commitment to her work. Her tireless efforts and unyielding spirit were a true testament to the value of dedication and hard work. While her communication skills may have been limited to clucks and the pecking of steel caps when she knew it was smoko, her contributions spoke volumes. She reminded us that every team member plays a crucial role in our collective success – particularly when it came to her value-adding efforts in the tearoom. From eggs that became cakes, muffins & quiches, her contributions went far beyond mere production; they fostered camaraderie and boosted morale. Today, we honour the memory of Ms. Cluck Norris and the lessons she taught us about perseverance, loyalty, and the silent power of productivity. She will be dearly missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire us all. Here is an article that presents the challenges family-owned businesses face over time. Families grow. Loved ones pass away. Visions of the future change. Nothing stays the same. An open style of communication and listening is imperative for the sustainable success and significance of a family's business. I'm reminded of a simple style of leadership I've read about through General (Retired) James Mattis, USMC. Listen, Learn, Lead, and Help. Mattis learned of this by reading about George Washington and realized that what worked for Washington, worked just fine for him. As an exit planning advisor, you can't possibly be equipped with the knowledge and skills to directly resolve every issue, and family feuds may be one of them. Instead, it's important to be able to listen and recognize these types of conflicts when they arise and recommend bringing the right people at the right time to help.

Thr Effect of Rheum ribes Root (Rhubarb) on Menopausal Hot Flashes: A Randomized Double-Blind, Study-Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. Abstract Background and objectives: Hot flashes are one of the most predominant complaints of menopause among women. The main treatment is hormone replacement therapy, which has side effects. Therefore, the use of plants with phytoestrogen has been suggested as an adjunctive treatment. This study aimed to estimate the efficacy of processed rhubarb (Rheum ribes L.) on hot flashes in postmenopausal women. Methods: This double-blind placebo-controlled trial was performed on postmenopausal women who were referred to public health centers at Iran University of Medical Sciences. Ninety postmenopausal women aged over 45 years with menopausal hot flashes were randomly assigned to two groups. The treatment group received 500 mg of encapsulated processed R. ribes twice a day for eight weeks, and the control group received placebo (starch powder) in the same manner. Data were collected using Blatt–Kupperman index at the start of the study, fourth and eighth weeks after the intervention. Descriptive and analytic statistics were used to analyze the data. Results: A total of 74 patients completed the study (39 participants in the intervention group and 35 in the control group). The results showed that R. ribes significantly decreased the mean of flashing in Blatt–Kupperman index four and eight weeks post-intervention (p<0.001). Rheum ribes showed no serious adverse effects. Conclusion: The findings of this study propose that treatment with R. ribes may be considered an adjunctive treatment for hot flashes in postmenopausal women.
