How long should your resume be? 🤔 Ideally, aim for two pages! While the standard length is typically one to two pages, it can vary depending on factors such as your experience level, industry standards, and the job requirements. For senior positions, stick to a maximum of two pages. ✅ Focus on including relevant information that highlights your qualifications, skills, and experiences concisely and effectively. ✅ Emphasize your most significant achievements and experiences relevant to the position you're seeking. ❌ Avoid unnecessary details to keep your resume concise and impactful. Let's talk about the "Skills" section. I've chatted with lots of hiring managers, and they really care about your experience in the role you are applying for. Here's the thing: When hiring managers look at your resume and see certain skills listed but not tied to your past jobs, they might think you haven't used those skills recently if not the past years. This could make them pass on your application at times which unfortunately has happened. I always tell my candidates that it's not just about listing skills; it's about showing how you've used them. So, when you apply for a job, make sure to match your skills with the job requirements and show where you've used them before. This helps the hiring manager see when you last used those skills and what you can do. In short, listing skills on your resume isn't enough. You've got to show how you've put them into action in your work. What do you think about this? Let me know your thoughts! #recruiting #resumetips #resume

5 questions to help you uncover accomplishments for your resume When you are writing a resume it is normal to feel stuck. The first thought on your mind will be that you haven’t accomplished anything worthy of going on your #resume. Here are five questions to help you uncover the best achievements for your resume: 1. When did I contribute to the company’s success? Your #resume must show potential employers how your past workplace benefited from your skills. Try to think of the results of your actions. 2. How have I been publicly recognized at work? Have you received the Employee of the Year award twice in a row? Then, you must definitely mention that on your #resume. 3. What accomplishments can I back up with data? It is better to include achievements that you can easily quantify on your #resume. However, don’t skip achievements just because you don’t have the metrics to back them up with. 4. Have I turned a difficult situation into a success? Have you made it possible for your previous employer to come out of a PR disaster looking successful? Then your crisis management skills deserve a special place on your #resume. 5. What am I the proudest of in my career? Whether it was about the big corporate sale you made or the large event you organized, be sure to give #resume space for things you are proud of achieving. #hiringnow #hiring #jobs #jobsearch #nowhiring #recruitment #recruiting #job #jobseekers #employment #careers #jobhunt #career #jobopportunity #jobsearching #jobopening #work #jobseeker #vacancy #jobvacancy #applynow #resume #jobinterview #jobshiring #recruiter #jobalert #hr #humanresources #interview #staffing #resumeadvice #resumetips #resume #resumehelp #resumewriting #resumeservices #resumewriter #resumedesign #resumes #resumebuilder #resumetemplate #jobsearch #resumebuilding #careercoach #careeradvice #resumeservice #resumemakeover #resumereview #career #careerdevelopment #careergoals #interviewtips #cv #resumetip #resumeexpert #resumewriters #resumetemplates #careerchange #resumepro #jobs
