I'm very happy to announce this request from the City of Stratford for construction companies to take on a small renovation of an existing city owned building into affordable housing: AFFORDABLE HOUSING - REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The City of Stratford has issued a request for proposals for the design, construction and/or renovation of full interior and some exterior finishes on the shell of the city-owned building located at 246 Railway Avenue. The building will be utilized as affordable housing, to be managed by the City’s Social Services department as part of the City’s affordable housing portfolio. The RFP will invite qualified applicants to design and renovate 246 Railway Avenue into a complete 2-bedroom house including all interior finishes, plumbing, electrical, windows and doors, bathroom and kitchen fit ups. Anticipated completion for the project is August 2025.
