Encouraging a flat organization is one thing, proving it in practice is another. The opportunity to speak with the CEO of Hatch at a junior level seems daunting, but John Bianchini made it seem more like a friendly conversation between like-minded colleagues. My peers and I had the opportunity to organize a meeting to discuss some of our best impressions and opportunities for improvement within Hatch, and earn valuable insight on the business. The conversation led to the mutual discovery of what our organization can improve and what we can improve in ourselves to excel within it. John truly practices what it means to be a manifesto-driven leader!

This time with Julianto Yauwin, a Chief of Technology Officer who learns and implements effective leadership to get to know human resources and work responsibilities better. When people ask me how I’ve helped get Tarkenton to where it is today, I think, foremost, it’s the emphasis we’ve put on people. After all, a company is made up of people, people create and shape culture, and culture ultimately defines a company’s output and delivers it.  We’ve built a roadmap to ensure we’re creating an effective culture, called “Right Person, Right Place, Right Time” and its counterpart “10 Steps to Accountability.” They include effective communication, performance evaluation, data assessment, and the relentless pursuit of improvement. The first step in walking this path is a change of mindset, a new climate where you as a leader instill a sense of ownership among your people. When your company runs deep with people who can communicate clearly and consistently, take appropriate action without supervision, and work to innovate, reform, and improve, it becomes something more resembling a movement. It’s one that allows you as a leader to lift yourself up out of operations and into the sort of “visionary work” you need to be doing.

Fact: There is no do over!! All we have is this one chance to protect & preserve our Environment. In October 2023, my Organization, The Diamond Incubator Ltd Made history locally, by hosting the first ever Spark "200" Leadership Symposium– A groundbreaking paperless event. Our innovative approach to this event was a testament to our unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability, As reflected in our current Strategic plan. By going paperless, we took a significant step towards recognizing & acting upon the vital role a sustainable environment plays in our lives & work. Every Non Profit or Organization in general can play their part in helping to green the future, By implementing the 10 strategies highlighted in the carousel below. 🌟 What a Week! 🌟 We've just wrapped up an incredible week of training and team-building activities with our partners at Tri-County Electric Cooperative - Florida and Wild Rice Electric Cooperative, MN! In Florida, Claude Kershner IV, DBA led our annual refresher training on performance management, ensuring that the team at Tri-County Electric is equipped with the skills and insights to continue driving success. Claude’s dedication and expertise make a significant impact every time he steps into the room. Meanwhile, in Minnesota, Bo Todd and Shawn Tenace took our team-building efforts to the next level with an Outdoor Team Building exercise at Wild Rice Electric. Mother Nature held out for most of the event, however, the team's resilience and camaraderie shined through, turning every obstacle into an opportunity for growth. 👟 Building stronger teams isn't just something we talk about – it’s something we live and breathe, indoors and out.
