The Jam just keeps getting sweeter! 🍯 In the latest ABM JAM we were joined by a great lineup: Siddhesh Rane from Sprinto, Yash Bharadwaj from CleverTap, AKASH CHUGH from Pine Labs, Danielle Maria from Chargebee, and Sanat Mohanty from Outcurve. The theme was lead-scoring and selecting target accounts. I've always been a big note taker in any scenario (S/O to our AI assistants, amirite?!). And I know Dustin Frazier can support this after being privy to all my sales notes before 🤣 Anyway, today's Justuno webinar was no different! Wanted to share my fav takeaways from the panel for brands in their "persona building" era! 1. Feedback loop engagement vs. Upsell/Cross-sell engagement. Worth the test to understand intent/discovery behavior from your VIPs. 2. Behind the scenes data (like first URL a visitor EVER landed on), mixed with your persona image will lead to the creation of converting experiences from checkout to post purchase. 3. We are in the time of restoring data signals, and your website and SMS channel will deliver key insights on community engagement and buying intent. This morning Tim Davidson 🍓🍋 mentioned on LinkedIn that now there is so many different types of #intentdata sources and intent tools that he's trying to put together an #intent data chart. For example, you have: Category style intent - Mostly associated with Bombora Keyword intent - Mostly found in #ABM platforms. 👉 Review site intent data - Think G2, TrustRadius, Capterra 👉 Website visitors - So first party intent data 👉 Proprietary algorithmic intent - Think 6sense 👉 Partnerships intent - Someone signs up with a partner which is intent that they might need your product or service 👉 Linkedin sales navigator intent 👉 CRM intent - Think MQL score modeling No matter what type of intent data you use, #GTM teams need to use it as a springboard vs. something to react to. In most cases, high intent leads are pushed off to sales and sales simply reacts to what the intent was vs. uncovering why there was intent in the first place. As there are so many different intent tools, mostly all GTM teams are using intent data now and they are all reacting to the same data in the same way. We need to differentiate ourselves by understanding what target accounts are really seeking and why? We need to align ourselves with their strategic priorities -- not their intent. The intent only shows us that they may be in-market but that should not guide GTM motions, interactions and experiences.
