🌬 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐟-𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤-𝐔𝐩 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 - H1 2024 The first half of 2024 saw a record-breaking 241 jack-up interventions, marking an increase of 21% compared to 2023. This period was largely dominated by O&M-focused vessels, with only six interventions carried out by installation vessels. 🔹 ZITON A/S once again leads the market with 110 interventions across their fleet of five vessels. 🔹 Van Oord’s O&M unit, MPI Offshore, secured the second spot, with their O&M-focused vessels MPI Adventure and MPI Resolution carrying out 60 interventions. 🔹 ATHELEON conducted 37 interventions using their two vessels, with Thor handling turbines ranging from the Siemens Gamesa SWT-2.3-93 to the Vestas V164-9.5. 🔹 Gulf Marine Services PLC's GMS Endeavour completed 22 interventions under a contract with Ørsted, servicing seven different wind farms, all featuring the SGRE 3.6/4.0 MW platform. 🔹 Eunsung O&C carried out six interventions in South Korea. 🔹 Cadeler completed six interventions using their WTIVs Wind Scylla and Wind Osprey between installation tasks. Overall, ten O&M-focused jack-ups were active in the first half of 2024, with all these vessels operating at near full utilization. With the growing demand for O&M jack-ups, vessel availability is becoming an increasingly critical challenge. Reach out to our project manager Lars-André Bugge Tobaben to hear more about our perspective on the future of the O&M jack-up intervention market and how our intelligence can help you.
