Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant ⟡ Keynote Speaker ⟡ Rapid Transformational Therapist ⟡ Empowering people and businesses to go beyond the barriers to advance equality in the workplace and beyond.
This week it is ‘National Inclusion Week 2023’. This week is for promoting and celebrating diversity, equity, and inclusion within organisations, communities and educational institutions. This year’s theme is ‘Take Action Make Impact’; a call to action for all in an organisation, from leaders, DEI professionals, teams and individuals. Take Action Make Impact is a powerful message which aims to get organisations and individuals thinking about what actions they can take and what positive impact these actions could and should have, to ensure everyone feels included, especially those marginalised and underserved communities. It is also a week to celebrate the successes organisations and individuals have achieved through their diversity, equity and inclusion work! The ultimate aim is to build a more inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone, regardless of their background, feel seen, heard and valued and have the opportunity to achieve and realise their potential. I am extremely proud of the work we do with our clients and their commitment to breaking down barriers of inequality to strengthen cultures of inclusion and belonging in their respective workplaces. It is always a pleasure seeing the impact of this work, and I feel very grateful that I have the opportunity to partner with my clients and really make a difference. We’d love to hear what your organisation is doing for take action and make impact for Inclusion Week 2023. #diversityequityinclusion #inclusivity #nationalinclusionweek #takeactionmakeimpact #DEI #takeaction #settingyouupforsuccess #beyondthebarriers #celebratesuccess

🌟 Let's celebrate diversity! 🌟 Diversity is not just a buzzword or a box to be checked; it's the very fabric of our society that makes us unique and vibrant. Embracing diversity means understanding and appreciating the differences that each individual brings to the table. It's about creating a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusion where everyone's voice is valued and heard. ✨ Diversity is not just about race or gender; it's about diversity of thought, experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives. When we come together with open minds and open hearts, magic happens. We challenge our own biases, break down barriers, and foster innovation and creativity that can propel us forward. Let's think about how we can actively promote diversity in our workplaces, communities, and beyond. Let's create spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Let's amplify voices that have been marginalized or silenced. Let's stand together in solidarity and unity, embracing the beauty and richness of our differences. 💫 Together, we can make a difference. This year's theme challenges us all to take concrete steps towards inclusion. Whether you're a leader, part of an D&I team, or an individual, it's a call to think strategically: 👉🏽 What impact do your actions aim to achieve? 👉🏽 Why do you believe in these actions? 👉🏽 Who benefits from them? 👉🏽 Are there unintended consequences? 👉🏽 Is your approach fully inclusive and intersectional? 👉🏽 How will you measure impact? 👉🏽 Have you consulted those affected? Imagine the difference we could make by considering these points before making decisions, launching services, or designing new products. "Helping You Get Comfortable With Uncomfortable Using Continuous Improvement To Elevate Performance, Drive Growth, and Inspire Change"
🌟 Let's spark a conversation about inclusion! 🌟 🔹 Inclusion is not just a buzzword; it's a powerful reminder that diversity is not enough. True inclusion means creating a sense of belonging for everyone, regardless of their background or identity. It's about embracing and valuing the differences that make each of us unique. 🔹 When we actively foster an inclusive environment, we open the door to new perspectives, ideas, and innovation. It's through diversity and inclusion that we can truly thrive, both personally and professionally. 🔹 Let's challenge ourselves to listen more, learn more, and uplift those voices that are often marginalized. By doing so, we can create a world where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. 🔹 Remember, inclusion is not a one-time initiative; it's an ongoing commitment to building a more equitable and empathetic society. Together, we can make a difference one step at a time.✨ #InclusionMatters #DiversityandInclusion #EmbraceUniqueness

Coming to the end of National Inclusion Week, how is your organisation working to support positive change for their people? According to LinkedIn Learning, 60% of employees want business leaders to speak up on diversity issues. We also know from behavioural science that we’re more likely to change our perspective or action if we hear from someone relatable. So, as well as senior support we need to hear from our peers. The messenger needs to be credible. This is where real human stories come in. If you’re looking for inspiration on how to build an inclusive workplace culture, read the TriplePoint story. They used storytelling to break down barriers for this year’s International Women’s Day. It’s an excellent example of stories you can share all year round to make a sustainable difference👇 #NationalInclusionWeek #TakeActionMakeImpact
