Are you rolling the dice on renewable energy in Colorado?? 🎲🎲 The Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association is about to transform the energy landscape in the rural American West. Thanks to a substantial $679 million investment from the USDA's Empowering Rural America (New ERA) program, over 5.8 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually will be eliminated through new solar, wind, and battery storage projects!! This is more than just a win for renewable energy; it’s a significant economic boost! With an estimated $422 million in savings over the next 20 years and dedicated support for communities transitioning from coal-based energy, the future looks bright. Having previously worked at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and having a passion for clean energy, it is exciting to see this level of commitment and action taken towards a cleaner future. For rural multifamily real estate investors, this shift means more than green energy – it's about investing in communities poised for growth and stability. What are your thoughts on how this renewable energy investment might impact property values in these areas? #ColoradoApartments #RenewableEnergy #TABOR #RealEstateInvestment #AffordableHousing #CleanEnergy #EconomicGrowth #RuralDevelopment 🌞⚡🌿

We're excited to announce our latest collaboration with Columbia University on a groundbreaking clean energy project in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. This innovative initiative combines a 4 MW solar system with a 15 MWh battery storage facility at the Croton-on-Hudson train station parking lot which serves the Metro-North and Amtrak lines. This project marks a significant advance in renewable energy and sustainability. Key Highlights: * The solar carport and battery storage system participates in the NY-Sun community distributed generation (CDG) program. * The addition of battery storage shifts the solar generation to offset peak times when the dirtiest power plants turn on. * Columbia University joins as the anchor tenant in this sustainable venture, with the Village of Croton-on-Hudson receiving site lease payments to further invest in the local community. * It plays a pivotal role in supporting the local community and promoting a sustainable future. Columbia University's decision to purchase solar energy from this project for the next two decades underscores their commitment to environmental sustainability and active community engagement. This project not only aims to reduce carbon emissions but also serves as a beacon of leadership in the adoption of renewable energy solutions. 🌞 Why do customers choose Barrington Solar? We tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each client, by listening to them and working with property owners. For this installation, the customers wanted to reduce their carbon footprint and embrace renewable energy solutions as they transition into retirement. They had this to say about their project:- "We selected Barrington Solar as our installers because, unlike the others who provided quotes, they took the time to sit down with us and truly understand our needs regarding the solar panels. Despite receiving quotes for 10–14 solar panels and batteries, which we had no interest in, Barrington Solar recognised that all we wanted was a modest supplementary system to help lower our bills and offer some stability during retirement amidst energy price fluctuations." Take a look at the services we provided and how this translates into savings for the customers here:- https://bit.ly/4f8fs8c #SolarEnergy #Sustainability #RenewalEnergy #SolarPanels

I've had the privilege of traveling across the length and breadth of the country—from Penrith to Plymouth—engaging with landowners about the exciting possibilities in renewable energy. Over the past months, I’ve been focused on identifying and securing prime sites for solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. Each conversation is an opportunity to share the many benefits of renewable energy, not just for our environment but for the landowners and local communities. By offering opportunities to host solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, we’re not only helping them diversify their income streams but also providing a sustainable path forward for their land. It’s incredibly rewarding to help find solutions for landowners, some who have had frustrating times of late. At Tyler Hill Renewables, we’re committed to driving the UK’s transition to a greener future, one project at a time. Here’s to building a sustainable future! 🌍 #RenewableEnergy #SolarPower #Sustainability #LandAcquisition #CleanEnergy #BESS
