GeoE3 strengthens the better availability of location data in Europe! Ended in February, the GeoE3 project offered a significant input for digitalisation in Europe. The project responded to the need to improve cross-border cooperation in monitoring various environmental phenomena, including acidification and forest loss. The project focused on certain development areas such as the solar energy potential, energy efficiency in buildings, and the opportunities offered by the development of smart cities and electric vehicle infrastructures. GeoE3 showed how 3D building data can be used to assess energy efficiency. In addition, it strengthened the integration of geospatial and statistical data. Take a closer look at the GeoE3 project’s results in the video! 👇

Important leap forward in multinational collaboration with an eye toward hydrography.
📣 A truly momentous moment for project Seabed 2030. We’re thrilled to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Nordic Hydrographic Commission (NHC), our first ever Regional Hydrographic Commission partner. 🇸🇪 Established in 1929 in Stockholm, Sweden, the NHC comprises the Kingdom of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The commission seeks to align Nordic practices with hydrographic issues. The Commission seeks to align Nordic practices with hydrographic issues, and is the first to sign up to Seabed 2030. This collaboration significantly boosts our mission and sends a strong message of support to the global hydrographic community #Hydrography #UnitedWeDiscover #Hydrospatial

🚄 On my way to Salzburg for the Geomechanics Colloquium 2024! 🚄 This year’s event will have a focus on rockfall monitoring and geohazards, topics that are more relevant than ever, especially in the wake of the recent flooding in Austria. The challenges faced by OEBB Infrastruktur (Austrian Railways) in keeping their infrastructure operational during extreme weather events highlight the critical need for resilient infrastructure that can withstand natural hazards. 🌍 Creating solutions to better monitor and mitigate geohazards is essential to keeping railway lines safe and operational, and this is exactly where Senceive comes in. We have recently launched our rockfall monitoring solution https://lnkd.in/dGVZCdhf, and I’m excited to promote it at the event. My colleague Markus Rennen will also present a scientific poster on the topic, showcasing how our wireless technology helps protect infrastructure from rockfall risks. If you will not be in Salzburg do not miss out on this opportunity to learn more about Senceive Earthworks Monitoring Solution #InfraGuard. My colleague Callum Davidson will present insights in a webinar on the 16th of October, use the link below to register. WEBINAR: https://lnkd.in/gKmPbYc2 On a personal note, I’ve transitioned from traveling by car to taking the train more often. Not only is it less stressful, but it also allows me to get more work done on the go. Plus, it's a small step toward reducing my carbon footprint – an #ESG consideration that’s becoming increasingly important in all aspects of business and is key at Previan. Looking forward to connecting with colleagues and learning more at the Geomechanics Colloquium in Salzburg! 🙌 #Geohazards #RockfallMonitoring #maxGEO #Senceive #Geomechanics2024 #OEBB #PREVIAN #ESG #Bentley

To achieve its objectives, TRANSEATION relies on the specialized work of the 16 partners that make up the consortium. Let's get to know them better! 😉 ➡ SINTEF Ocean conducts research and innovation related to ocean space. Researchers from SINTEF work on projects with both a national and international focus and for clients from the public and private sectors. Core topics for SINTEF Ocean include marine governance and stakeholder engagement, ecological restoration, biomonitoring, sustainability assessments, and ocean modelling. In #TRANSEATION project, SO leads the stakeholder engagement process and works to integrate knowledge from CLIMAREST project (Lighthouse for the Arctic and Atlantic Basin), establishing synergies with the toolbox for marine restoration. 🔎 Find out more about TRANSEATION in the project website! 🔗 lnkd.in/dVPEfExc #MarineConservation #MarineEcosystems #NaturebasedSolutions #Sustainability #BlueEconomy #MarineSustainability #Innovation #TRANSEATIONproject Centro Tecnológico Naval y del Mar - CTN, AZTI, SPOTTERON, Ocean Ecostructures, CMCC Foundation - Centro Euro Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici, GAIKER Technology Centre, Leibniz-Institut für Ostseeforschung Warnemünde, Itsaskorda S.L., EcoOcean, DTU Aqua, SAITEC, University of Haifa, Green Living Projects, #SINTEF, Seacure - Geocorail
