🤝 The Power of Shared Vision: Connecting Women Through Visualization 👯♀️ Last weekend, The Pull-Her Network hosted its annual end-of-year reflection and vision board party, bringing together over 35 women for an inspiring and impactful event. We reflected on our achievements, collaboratively created vision boards, and fostered meaningful connections. The power of visualization was evident as shared goals and aspirations sparked organic networking opportunities. For example, an engineering student connected with a seasoned female engineer after noticing a shared vision on their boards, leading to a valuable discussion about career paths and future aspirations. This event underscored the importance of: 🔻 Clarity and Focus: Visualizing goals helps define clear objectives and prioritize actions. 🔻 Motivation and Inspiration: Vision boards serve as a constant source of motivation and inspiration, keeping us focused on our dreams. 🔻 Networking and Connection: Shared visions create a natural foundation for connection and collaboration. The event was a resounding success, strengthening the network and empowering the women who make it so vibrant. Check my bio to join this vibrant uprising network of young women 😉 #womensupportingwomen #networking #visionboard #goalsetting #community

#MindsetMonday: Motivation Comes from Healthy Competition After such a powerful and amazing 10 days last week at the Women in Tech Regatta and meeting up with other amazing Women in my industry who are killing it running their own businesses I am overwhelmed with confidence, joy, and motivation. The most powerful impact comes from the motivated mindset and the best type of motivation is fueled by healthy competition and support from other women. These women may be my competition in the workforce and in life, but there will always be something that needs done, built, solved, or led. So instead of having a scarcity mindset about the competition in this current market, I shifted to the healthy competition mindset and started connecting with others in my industry and branched out in new ways to network in my city. I started solidifying MY brand and who I wanted to be, who I wanted to work with, and how to do it in partnership with my peers. When you are surrounded and supported by other women who's stars are rising and see them kicking butt at what they do, you strive to be like them, work with them, learn from them, and rise with them. I am more than excited to announce some very exciting things happening in my life (stay tuned!) since I have felt such strong support from all these amazing women, but in the meantime, after soft launching for the past month, I am officially launching my brand and announce: SB Events & Experiences: Black and white, no BS - because I'm SB and I will make you shine like the star you are. 🤩 Our passion is building community through events and experiences that create memorable moments, stronger networks, and personal and professional growth for any participant. Excited to continue to lift as I rise so all our stars shine brighter with my fellow Women in Business, Women in Tech, Event Professionals, and Industry Partners. 🔗 Check out my site and get more info here: https://lnkd.in/gPN_r2Cj #WomenOwnedBusiness #LiftAsYouRise #PhoenixRising #ShineLikeAStar #WomenSupportingWomen #WomeninTech #RelationshipsAreTheTrueCurrency #EventProfs #LFG

We are grateful for the incredible voices that graced the stage at our Women of Rubies Media Visibility Bootcamp 3.0. Thanks for your time and the insights you shared. Thanks, Chiddie A. Ruth A. DAMILOLA Ajibade Katrice B. Chekwube Uchea Erica Effah ,Fola Adegoke, Nike Kay-Okunubi. Anchors: Oluwatoyin Ogunade I & O. Special guest: Cheraldean Duhaney, Councillor, Town of West Gwillimbury, Ontario. Keynote Speaker: Patricia Bebia Mawa Here are some lessons I learned: Authenticity Reigns: Speakers emphasized the importance of staying true to oneself in media representation. Authenticity not only resonates with audiences but also builds trust and credibility. Power of Storytelling: Learning how to craft and share our narratives effectively can create profound connections. Embracing Vulnerability: Opening up about our struggles and vulnerabilities can be empowering. It fosters empathy and encourages others to embrace their own imperfections, fostering a culture of authenticity and support. Building Resilience: Challenges are inevitable, especially in the media landscape. However, resilience is key. Learning how to bounce back from setbacks and turn obstacles into opportunities is essential for personal and professional growth. Collaboration Over Competition: In a world that often pits women against each other, the speakers emphasized the power of collaboration. Supporting and uplifting each other not only strengthens individual endeavors but also fosters a sense of community and collective success. We are supercharged and looking forward to the next bootcamp in a few months. Thanks for making #mvbc 3.0 a success. If you missed the two days, replay will be available soon on womenofrubies.com/mvbc3 #Womenofrubies #MediavisibilityBootcamp #Womensupportingwomen #Publicrelations

At Answer Digital, we’re proud to support and grow the The Answer Is Women initiative, a Leeds-based community designed to empower women in tech and their allies. This year, we hosted three impactful events: 💡 The Consultant’s Mindset with Sarah Green, exploring confidence and clarity in consulting. 💡 Thriving or Just Surviving with Rachel Munt, navigating workplace challenges. 💡 Breaking the Glass Ceiling, part of Leeds Digital Festival, focused on leadership and smashing societal barriers. Here’s what we learned: ✅ Celebrating success: Inspiring speakers, meaningful connections, and actionable advice created an empowering space for all attendees. ✅ Building community: Beyond external impact, these events strengthened our internal team and fostered a deeper sense of belonging. However, it wasn’t without challenges. From balancing packed agendas to encouraging broader allyship, we’ve gained valuable insights to make 2025 even better. As we look ahead, we’re committed to: ✨ Reaching wider audiences and growing allyship. ✨ Creating more space for reflection and networking. ✨ Hosting events that continue to break barriers and normalise important conversations. We’d love to hear your thoughts! What topics would you like to see us cover in 2025? Let’s keep building a thriving, inclusive community together. 🔗 Join our LinkedIn group: https://lnkd.in/eGkBpygp 📩 Sign up for our newsletter: https://lnkd.in/ec7M9uJR #WomenInTech #TheAnswerIsWomen #InclusiveCommunity #BreakingBarriers
