Audio News | Week 10 of 2024 1. Sirius FM makes 80% of its revenue from subscribers and the other 20% from Ads. I'm not surprised. Spotify has 41% of its revenue from subscribers too. For audio, it's now a question of reaching those who don't have the money to subscribe to get more ad dollars. Thoughts? 2. Scuti Rewards has secured $10m in funding. Scuti enables users to collect points by playing games, and then redeem these points by making purchases on its platform. Is this the best way to drive gaming and brand interaction? 3. Adobe is launching a photoshop for audio, more AI in audio is coming 4. E-sports seems to be focused on community building as opposed to other metrics like Ad revenue. Communities = numbers which in the long run = ad revenue 5. Hugo Boss is interested in tapping into gamification and facilitating social moments that bring people together with Planet Hugo | Robolox partnership 6.
