We're thrilled to announce the official kick-off of the TRIREME Digital and Green Skills Towards Future of the Mobility Ecosystem project, a strategic initiative aimed at shaping the future of #skills agenda the #Automotive-#Mobility Ecosystem in Europe. As one of the largest and most impactful industries in Europe, the Automotive-Mobility ecosystem is at the forefront of the transition towards a #green and #digital economy. The TRIREME ERASMUS+ Blueprint project focuses on sectoral skills collaboration in key areas such as: 1) #skills intelligence and strategic recommendations to boost re-/up-skilling, including analysis of trends in the ecosystem, such as, circular economy, AI, new business models; 2) #Innovation of European education systems and effective delivery methods; 3) Development and piloting of newly created #education and #training courses; 4) addressing the #social implications of the twin transition on the workforce; 5) connecting stakeholders and rolling out results on European, national and regional levels across Europe, addressing the social implications of the #TwinTransition on the workforce. With 31 partners across 13 countries, under the umbrella of the Large-scale #PactForSkills Partnership in the Automotive-Mobility Ecosystem, the #TRIREME project is ready to make a significant impact. The official public start of the TRIREME project was within the frame of the “Conference Skills (R)Evolution in the Automotive-Mobility Ecosystem” organized on April 10 and as well as the project partners meeting organized on April 11-12 in Brussels. This marked the start of complex work focused on skills agenda to meet the evolving needs of the Automotive-Mobility Ecosystem. Big thanks to all partners who are part of the TRIREME project, as well as all partners in the Automotive Skills Alliance movement. "Measures to Improve the Quality of Life for People with Special Needs in Poland and Around the World" Ensuring a better quality of life for individuals with special needs is not just a moral obligation, but a cornerstone of an inclusive society. In Poland, significant efforts have been made to integrate people with disabilities into various aspects of daily life through improved healthcare, accessible infrastructure, and inclusive education. Global trends emphasize personalized support, from assistive technologies to social inclusion programs. The non-negotiable factor is respect—respect for dignity, autonomy, and equal opportunity. When we break barriers, we create a world where everyone thrives, regardless of their abilities.". Participation in this conference inspired me to bring to the attention of all those interested in the subject matter the excellently defended master's thesis of Julia Salachna, who captured in her theoretical study an aspect of the experience of neurodiverse people at airports and in air travel. After numerous meetings with airport staff and case studies, she created a model with the theme in the second practical part of her work: “Sensory turbulence - a tool to support passenger needs at the airport and on the plane,” ready for production for decision-makers who are not indifferent to the above topic and see it as a future that clearly translates into economic revenue aspects for airports.

It has been an excellent couple of days at the European Regions Airline Association General Assembly in Seville. I was delighted to moderate the CEOs discussion session once again, and it continues to be a privilege and an honour to serve on the ERA Board. Huge thanks to the ERA team for superb organisation, and to all my friends and industry colleagues with whom I’ve had enjoyable and stimulating conversations about this dysfunctional industry of ours. I have to say that I was really struck at this conference by how sustainability is really moving front and centre. The growth in the last couple of years in the number of new electric-aircraft OEMs who’ve joined ERA (whether Heart Aerospace, VÆRIDION, Cosmic Aerospace, Elysian Aircraft or others, alongside ZeroAvia in the hydrogen space) demonstrates once again that the regional aviation sector is going to be the pioneer of zero-emissions aviation. And meanwhile, I’ve had some excellent and sobering discussions in the last couple of days about #sustainableaviationfuel and the industry’s Net Zero by 2050 goal. The consensus here has been that the regional aviation sector still has the possibility to reach net-zero by 2050, in large part due to new zero-emission regional aircraft complemented by SAF, but that the wider industry will struggle to do so. We need to greatly ramp up SAF production (a focus of Future Energy Global‘s work) but the airline industry is also going to have to be clear-headed about how continued traffic growth is moving it further away from its 2050 goal. (As a postscript I could wish that Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline hadn’t delayed my departure home from Seville this evening from 5.15pm to midnight 🥱 due to an electrical fault on the aircraft that couldn’t be fixed by “turning it off and turning it on again” (though the engineers tried just that several times), but the airline’s legendary generosity has extended to a €4 food voucher for each passenger, and at this point there’s hopefully only another two hours to wait!) #regionalairlinesdoitbetter

It was an opportunity to come together, reflect on our achievements, and look forward with determination and clarity. 🎯 The event brought together all employees to review the company’s 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 from the previous year, while also presenting 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 and 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 for the future. This moment of transparency and collaboration allowed everyone to feel actively involved in the company’s journey, strengthening bonds among colleagues. 🤝 The meeting was filled with smiles and laughter, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that marked an important step forward in consolidating our sense of belonging and internal 𝗰𝗼𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. It reaffirmed the importance of investing in people, shared values, and corporate culture to build a stronger and more rewarding future. 🛠️ Additionally, the meeting included a 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 focused on our products, where we had the chance to dive deeper into the latest innovations and ongoing projects. 3 learnings from attending the SIETAR Europa congress: 🎢 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱: diving deeper into topics of my preference was fun, but my favourite sessions were those on topics I had little to no knowledge about because I was able to uncover my blind spots (i.e. areas of learning). 🔍 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆: someone in the field may share their thoughts or jokes confidently, but that doesn't mean I have to automatically agree. Critically reflecting on comments and situations strengthened my confidence in forming my own opinion. 🎇 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹: having the opportunity to connect with people that I might have never met in my everyday life was a game-changer to exchange views, reflect on sessions, and thereby keep learning.
