We are honoured to have Professor Andy Hargreaves deliver the keynote address at this years' LTSB Education Leadership Conference. His talk, "The Age of Identity: Who Do Our Kids Think They Are… and How Can We Help Them Belong?", explores a critical aspect of education today—how identity shapes learning and community. Drawing from experiences with diverse school communities, Professor Hargreaves will share why fostering a strong sense of identity is just as vital as academic achievement. Surely, one not to be missed! It's not too late to book. https://lnkd.in/ed-J6vuS

🗣️ Chris, a student supported by our partner CAPE Mentors, believes in the importance of having teachers from diverse backgrounds and inclusive environments in school. 💡 At Mission 44, we want to see classrooms where every student feels a sense of belonging, and can see themselves and their communities reflected in their teaching staff. That’s why we’re calling on the Government to #PreventExclusions by investing in diversity in teaching and senior school leadership, and introducing mandatory inclusive practice and anti-racism training for all teachers and school governors. 🔗 Find out more about our policy recommendations as part of the Nothing Happens in Isolation campaign at: https://lnkd.in/e384-iKS

Anseye Pou Ayiti (APA) is revolutionizing education in Haiti by shaping a new generation of leaders. Nedgine Paul Deroly, CEO and Co-Founder, and Jean-Claude Brizard, Founding Board Chair, are both proud Haitians and #McNultyPrize Winners. They witnessed how the Haitian education system, deeply influenced by the French colonial legacy, ignored local language and Haiti’s proud history and culture; creating a divide between classroom and community and stifling homegrown leadership. Through fellowships and leadership development for teachers, parents, and principals, APA's innovative approach is decolonizing the education system and recentering Haitian identity, impacting not just students, but the whole community. This holistic shift is driving both community and national transformation while seeding a new generation of civic leaders. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eaYtfB7T
