Want to Break into Medical Sales right out of college? Here's how. There are 3 primary ways to break into the world of medical sales: 1. Get some strong B2B sales experience working for a "feeder" company. There are number of companies where you can expect to be heavily recruited once you have put in 18-24 months of work. (ADP, Paychex, UniFirst Corporation, Cintas, Avis Budget Group, Xerox) 2. Work for a smaller healthcare company that has a history of hiring recent college graduates. 3. Target the big healthcare companies and go for an inside sales or associate rep role. (Medtronic, Stryker. Zimmer Biomet, BD, Boston Scientific, Johnson & Johnson) I have witnessed people navigating their way to a successful career in medical sales all 3 ways. One-way isn't better than the other, they are just different. Lastly, the world of medical sales is vast. There's pharma, device, capital equipment, procedure, diagnostics, dental, etc. One isn't better than the other, they are just different.
