Great podcast Charlie S. & David Doolan ArrowXL Having spent 30+ years in the 2 Person Home Delivery sector, it certainly is different, and arguably more challenging than some other sectors. Some really great soundbites/comments that certainly resonated with me : - the myth of "there's no money in 2person HD" - true, its commercially very challenging, but there is value for all concerned (consumer, retailer & service provider) if done correctly & the desire is there. - E Vehicles - great to hear some honest & open thought leadership on the dilemma of this subject - The challenges of crossing the consumer's threshold - "Mrs Smiths Ming Vase"! - "We employ Customer Service Agents, not drivers". I spend years waxing lyrical on this topic - in no way undermining the very important role & skill set of our driver population, but in 2 person HD, it's vital to employ colleagues who want to deliver, interact, and give great customer service customers in the customers home. 👏 👏
