In 2019, we launched our employee Global Self-Identification (GSID) program to get a more accurate picture of our workforce's diversity–beyond gender and race. Today, we’re excited to publish our first thought leadership paper on our GSID program, in which we outline our approach and learnings from the last four years. By sharing this paper, we hope to help other organizations set up similar programs and engage in conversations on how we can improve the process and progress together. Knowing your workforce isn’t a question of if, but how. We’re proud to share the guidelines we follow to conduct a global self-identification program that meets local legal requirements, builds trust among employees, and secures data with the highest privacy standards. Diversity is very important to us, especially when it comes to ideas.💡

Uber charges 22 to the customer, pays driver 8, we are starting up a new system at universal orlando to knockdown all uber rides and let passengers pay thru credit cards or cash, it has been successful, meanwhile we keep 100% of profits while we knock uber system down

Diversity is key in any company, esspecially in an international company that provides an income to a global workforce BUT you have a serious lack in taking care of your drivers interest and are most definitely not up to date with serious shortfalls and actual fraud that is being committed in South Africa. Your platform for drivers serious lack some proper assistance and support that can apply their mind and not just answer in bot-like style. What is the purpose of help centres / greenlight hubs if people working their are not equipped to really assist your employees?

🚨 Seeking Justice and Support: My Uber Driver Experience 🚨 Dear LinkedIn Community, I need your help with a frustrating and financially crippling issue with Uber. As an Uber driver supporting a family of four, I've encountered serious obstacles. My Story: Last Saturday, I paid a £300 deposit and £170 weekly rent for a hire car. My Uber account was then falsely blocked for document forgery. Despite proving my innocence, my account remained blocked for four days. When finally unblocked, I started a shift but was blocked again just two hours in, leaving me stranded 25 miles from home. The Impact: Loss of Earnings: Made less than £50 this week. Financial Strain: Hire car costs still due, and returning it would incur more charges. Personal Stress: Sole breadwinner, immense stress and anxiety. My Plea: Visibility: Please like, comment, and share to spread the word. Advice: Any legal or consumer rights expertise? Support: Connections within Uber for a fair resolution? Uber's treatment has real consequences. Let's push for accountability and fair treatment for all gig workers. Thank you for your support. #Uber #GigEconomy #SupportDrivers #JusticeForDrivers #FairTreatment
