Renewable Power Capital (RPC), headquartered in London, and Procter & Gamble, the US consumer goods giant, have inked a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the 140MW Sörlidberget wind farm in Sweden. Covering over 90% of the farm's electricity output, estimated at 400GWh annually, the deal marks a significant step in RPC's 553MW cluster development across Kramfors and Sollefteå municipalities, with Sörlidberget being one of four wind farms under construction. This agreement, the fourth PPA for RPC, complements their existing partnerships with LyondellBasell and Ardagh. With the recent procurement of 80 Nordex Group turbines, installation is slated to begin in spring 2025, aiming for operational readiness by late 2025 or early 2026. RPC's Managing Director, Steve Hunter, expressed pride in this milestone, emphasizing their commitment to decarbonization and partnership with influential players like Procter & Gamble.
