News Release: PTX Metals Announces Successful Near Surface Drill Results from W2 Cu-Ni-PGE Project which Significantly Expanded the Mineralized Trend Outside the W2 Deposit “Completion of the Phase 1 drill program was an important milestone for W2 and PTX Metals as it not only proved the exploration potential of this large package in one of Canada’s emerging and important mineralized regions, but it also served to strengthen the Company’s exploration team and community relations,” said Greg Ferron, CEO and President of PTX Metals Inc. “In addition, during the drill program we successfully completed the acquisition of a large deposit located in the central area (i.e., CA zones) of the project, which had seen significant shallow historical drilling to identify mineralized deposits; sufficient enough to support the current modelling program which includes generating 3-D shell geological and mineralization models, and to provide a range of grade and tonnage of the mineralization. “Notably, W224-03 and W224-07 from this Phase 1 program demonstrate the high success rate of discovering new mineralization over wide widths by drilling new conductors, which are abundant across the property. Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp. (OTC:LBSR), dba Liberty Star Minerals, said its drilling program at the Hay Mountain property has uncovered significant indicators of commercially valuable #metals, suggesting the potential for substantial #mineralization in the area. Drilling at the southeast Arizona property has indicated the potential presence of commercially important metals associated with porphyry copper-gold-moly geologic structures, according to the Tuscon-based company. At a depth exceeding 2000 feet, the company encountered a marble front along with an intense zone of propylitic alteration, both suggesting the existence of a substantial, hydrous intrusive body at depth. According to consulting geologist Jim Bryce, this alteration represents some of the most profound seen in over three decades of experience in the field, the company noted in a statement. Results from the 2022 drill program at the TLC Lithium Project, as well as expansion drilling carried out in 2023, are anticipated to add significantly to the project's upcoming Updated Mineral Resource Estimate. #LibertyStarUraniumandMetals Corp. (dba Liberty Star Minerals | LBSR: OTCQB) is making good progress with its first-ever drilling program at its flagship Hay Mountain property in southeast Arizona, the company shared in an update. The property, situated within a region known for significant porphyry copper-gold-moly geological structures, is being explored for commercially important metals. According to an interim field report, drilling at the second hole will continue from 1,500 feet to 2,000 feet. This decision is informed by observations and Portable X-ray Fluorescence (PXRF) readings indicating hydrothermal alteration and sulfides associated with veins in the core. These findings raise the possibility of a carbonate replacement deposit at depth, Liberty Star said in a statement. Fathom Nickel Inc (@fathomnickelinc) has reported promising exploration results from its Gochager Lake property. The recent field program included a soil geochemical survey aimed at identifying signals over the historic deposit and locating similar deposits elsewhere on the property. Mapping and sampling revealed subsurface signals extending up to 400 metres east-northeast of the historic deposit, indicating increased complexity and potential for larger deposits. The company highlighted the presence of significant magmatic nickel, copper, and cobalt deposits hosted in a gabbro intrusion. Furthermore, the exploration program identified similar signals at the Mal Lake site, located ten kilometres southeast of Gochager Lake, suggesting a common source for the mineralization and significantly increasing the area's scope and potential. Maximus Resources Limited (ASX:MXR, OTC:MXRRF) has fielded encouraging assay results from a shallow, wide-spaced reconnaissance drilling program at the Lefroy #Lithium Project joint venture (JV) with the Korea Mine Rehabilitation and Mineral Resources Corporation in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. The first-pass program, which was designed to test an extensive legacy lithium in soil anomaly and out-cropping pegmatites, hit fertile lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatites in 23 of 30 holes, with widths up to 18 metres thick. The company observed continuous lithium mineralisation grading up to 6 metres at 1.11% lithium, including 3 metres at 1.99% lithium from 91 metres of depth across a 600-by-400-metre area, which remains open and untested at depth. Metals Australia Ltd has received all required permitting approvals for a major fully-funded drilling and trenching program to test new high-grade #gold and #silver targets and priority #lithium bearing (LCT) #pegmatites at its Corvette River Project. The #drilling and trenching program will include up to 19 diamond drillholes for up to 4,750m and approximately 16 trenches, testing high-grade gold and gold-silver-copper targets identified from previous rockchip sampling and re-interpretation of magnetics and electromagnetic (EM) imagery, along with key LCT pegmatite zones identified by recent rockchip sampling. Metals Australia CEO Paul Ferguson commented: “We are delighted to have received all necessary approvals to advance this priority drilling and trenching program at our Corvette River Project, which is located within one of Canada’s most prospective lithium, gold, and base metals regions. "In addition to the highly-prospective lithium pegmatite targets we have identified analogous to Patriot Battery Metals’ world-class Corvette Trend lithium deposits, we have also identified multiple new high-grade gold and silver target zones based on our geological team’s extensive re-interpretation of previous rockchip sampling results and magnetics.
