EODev winner of ADEME’s "H2 Technology Building Blocks" call for projects 🙏 The SGPI (General Secretariat for Investment) has confirmed an R&D grant to EODev to support the development of high-power electro-hydrogen power generators. We were delighted to recently welcome a delegation of Brazilian government officials and business leaders at our Manufacturing Innovation Centre in Redhill, UK. This visit, organised by UK in Brazil and the Department for Business and Trade, was hosted by Phil Caldwell, CEO at Ceres, Caroline Hargrove, Chief Technology Officer at Ceres, and Dipak Mistry, Strategic Business Development Director at Ceres.   The visit offered a valuable opportunity to discuss Brazil's hydrogen strategy and explore opportunities to manufacture and deploy Ceres' technology in Brazil. The delegation toured our pilot manufacturing facility, gaining insights into our cutting-edge processes.   The delegation’s commitment to exploring #renewable energy and green hydrogen solutions was tangible, highlighted by Brazil’s aspirations to have pilot projects in all regions by 2030 and to be a globally competitive producer of green hydrogen by 2035. Big news from Team Innovatium: We are really pleased to share that our first commercial PRISMA liquid air storage system has been purchased by Glacier Energy, of Aberdeen. This is great news for us - and it’s shining example of how we’re working with our Partners to deliver Net Zero at home in Scotland.    Glacier Energy has been one of our key suppliers since 2018, and like us, sustainability is at the heart of their business. Last year, their team identified PRISMA as a key technology to support their Net Zero ambitions. Following a detailed audit - our liquid air storage solution including new compressors are forecasted to save a staggering 50% in Glacier's energy bills.    To make things easier from a finance perspective, we have removed the need for CapEx with a simple lease arrangement so that savings can be realised from day 1.   Glacier’s PRISMA system and new packaged compressors are due for delivery in April 24. 🌟 UK CCUS & Hydrogen Decarbonisation Summit ~ Day 1 Roundtable: During Day 1 Turley hosted a roundtable discussion with LanzaTech, enfinium, Pinsent Masons, Spirit Energy and Statkraft to discuss the challenges in obtaining permission/consent for infrastructure, and the importance of social value in the industry. My take away points: ~ incorporating the consenting timescales into an infrastructure programme is essential. ~ there is a need for upskilling an understanding of the industry within local planning authorities and other statutory stakeholders. ~ social value and community benefits are very important to allow host communities to benefit from the infrastructure.
