My entrepreneurial journey with Thibault Demoulin begun after I registered to the Innosuisse initial coaching and STARTUP CAMPUS Switzerland. I learnt during the lectures and coaching, about crafting and bringing a tech innovation into business world. I therefore recommend to Swiss entrepreneurs, graduating with technical, scientific background to attend the STARTUP CAMPUS Switzerland classes and apply for the Innosuisse coaching program. In fact, besides the technical business knowledge, I will recommend it for 5 soft reasons:  1️⃣ Listen: to learn the vocabulary of the newbies entrepreneurs: canvas, pitch deck, business plan, customers acquisitions and more. 2️⃣ Critical thinking: to discuss in lengthen and decide on mistakes you will do anyway such as problem solution fit, product market fit, customer feedback, and execution process. 3️⃣ Decide: to identify and define action plan to bypass mistakes you would like to avoid at all cost such as taking money from wrong partners or investors, debt, legal, complex business structure and more, 4️⃣ Prove: to validate your technical initial idea with a pool of skeptic, experts, optimist, believer and more... 5️⃣ Team trust: to find a good, trustable, experience coach and ecosystem to develop, grow your business idea and yourself. It is not a straightforward journey, be prepared keep your energy, effort, and commitment as high possible. Most importantly, don't discourage ✅ It won’t be easy but it is worth it .  ✅ Don’t be too impatient, take the ride one step at the time, and persevere. ✅ Celebrate the quick win (still difficult for us to do), it keeps you and your team motivated. This quote of Nelson Mandela summarises my entrepreneur journey so far: "After climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb". This was really cool. Last week, Bridgestone Mobility Solutions welcomed customers and 5 selected startups for a day of diving deep into carefully identified challenges and opportunities, and to explore the power of partnerships. The rooms were alive, and wow this was a challenging audience. Executives across sales, product, tech and data knew exactly what their customers wanted, understood the market and technology changes, and challenged us deeply and in ways that we even took notes on our own product. Growth on speed by blending knowledge between two different worlds, sharing the same goal - meet customer needs now and in the future. It went from - "Yes we have that, let me tell you how" - to - "Wait, I didn't think about that, can you tell me how? Can you tell me why?" Bridgestone is the the largest manufacturer of tires globally, is active in 150 countries, and via Webfleet serve over 1.5 million vehicles with telematic solutions to aid a more efficient and productive fleet. As much as we’d love to attend every startup fair and convention, it’s not always feasible. However, Bits & Pretzels is one event we make sure not to miss each year. It’s a place where meaningful connections are made, great opportunities emerge, and the inspiring atmosphere keeps us coming back.   Our investment managers, Marlis Baurecht and Alex Burger, had the opportunity to engage with the vibrant startup ecosystem, attending insightful sessions and key side-events, such as those hosted by Ricarda Schulte and Markus Bold from Chemovator GmbH, the business incubator of chemical group BASF.   The legendary Oktoberfest experience was also a highlight - special thanks to Valentin Schneider & Team from KPMG Venture Services for hosting us.   We were particularly impressed by Joulzen, an Austrian startup that repurposes old oil heating tanks by integrating them into modern energy systems, converting them into thermal batteries for surplus electricity. Their innovative approach to energy storage stood out, and they made excellent use of the platform to showcase their solution. Congratulations to Sebastian Rigger and the team for an outstanding presentation!   Additionally, our team had numerous 1:1 meetings with key industry leaders, including Florian Ascherl, Christine Heuwing, Atilio Grimani, Julie Eeftink , and Bernd Hinrichsen. With all of you we feel a strong desire to reconnect!   Bits & Pretzels 2024 has once again proven to be an invaluable event for us to connect with forward-thinking entrepreneurs and partners. In the fifth week of workshops with Rita Anson, the focus was on case studies of successful sustainable startups in the Nordics, particularly in the services sector. We explored examples of startups that have effectively integrated sustainable business practices into their operations. 🌱 A key aspect of our discussion revolved around identifying the critical factors contributing to success.
