Tail shaft to be withdrawn at place for class inspection 5. Tail shaft brought to workshop and carry out alignment 6. MPI

Conventional thread mills often require several passes to generate a thread. The A Brand AT-1’s revolutionary capability to generate threads in one pass lies in its unique tool geometry. These are Nozzle Holders, these are manufactured to work with the fuel pump units that we manufacture here at RGS. They are fitted to the side of the units. They are cut from 1.5mm stainless steel on the fibre laser. They are then taken to the folding room, where the protective plastic is scored using copper (this won’t scratch the stainless steel because it is a softer material). They are then folded on the Armada CNC. The 2 components used to make the nozzle holders have the protective plastic removed in the appropriate areas. The Nozzle Holders are then tacked up and then fully welded. Finished off with the welds sanded and the box polished. One of Johnny's demands as our new Fabrication Shop manager, was that he star in a minimum of one video post per week. 😂 Today, he is welding K17 PU V-Guide to our Pure 20B Clear Glossy belt and adding sensor clips (for an Eddy Current separator application). Once he lays down a guide on each edge of the belt, he preps the belt for sensor clips by marking the hole locations. Once the locations are marked, he then punches holes and then uses a rivet gun to attach the steel sensor clips to the belt.
