Another unforgettable evening at the annual World Child Cancer Dinner in Manchester, hosted by our wonderful ambassadors, Lauren Chivers and Sonya Russell. A huge thank you to this dynamic duo and their guests, and our sponsor Trail Group . This year's Dinner was not just a dinner; it was a celebration of community, compassion, and the collective spirit that drives our mission forward. Thanks to your generosity, the funds raised will go directly towards providing life-saving treatments and support to children with cancer around the world. Each donation brings us one step closer to our goal of ensuring every child, regardless of where they live, has access to the best possible care. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, donated, and supported our mission. Together, we are making a real difference in the lives of children facing cancer. #ClosingTheCancerGap

Such a selfless act well done to both of you.
This is a story of how every one of us - no matter how big or small - has the power to make a positive impact in this world. My 9-y-o child had the idea of helping improve the life of at least one person affected by cancer and started this fundraiser where the money collected are donated to the Irish Cancer Society and at the end of the month both Johanna and I are going to donate our hair to the Rapunzel Foundation. The kindness and generosity have been so overwhelming and Johanna's target has nearly tripled to date. Please feel free share and help raise awareness of the importance of prevention and early diagnostics of cancer and support the priceless work of the Irish Cancer Society. https://lnkd.in/dt_ntUgi

DONATE in a way that suits you. 2 in 5 Canadians in their life will get Cancer. Help us bring a world where everybody lives longer, better lives free from the fear of cancer. Small amounts add up. Every dollar matters. But when you make a regular donation, even if it’s a small amount, your impact builds up over time to help more people like Carlos. Help save more lives, like Mei Ling. Your donations support thousands of researchers, clinicians and nurses to transform how to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, bringing hope to millions of people like Mei-Ling, now and in the future. Hope grows when you give to those in need. Your generosity not only provides nourishment, but is also the first step towards programs and services that transform lives. Help break the cycle. Give today. Your generosity creates practical steps toward a hopeful tomorrow. Thank you. https://lnkd.in/g8TNiJWN www.ecfweb.org

Odds are you have heard of No-Shave November, but do you know the background beyond the viral movement? According to the official No-Shave November (Matthew Hill Foundation, Inc.) page, "No-Shave November has been a tradition for many years, but in 2009, the Chicago-based Hill family decided to reinvent the activity to raise money for charity. This project held special meaning to the eight Hill children after their father, Matthew Hill, passed away from colon cancer in November 2007." The goal of No-Shave November is relatively simple: donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle. With the help of social media, other organizations like Movember have raised millions of dollars for cancer awareness, as well as other men's health issues. Check out some of the foundations that No-Shave November is benefiting this year, and take some time this month to explore other organizations you can support this November. #noshavenovember https://lnkd.in/ddDQcQAV
