"A Better Tomorrow with South-South Cooperation." This is the United Nations' motto for today's International Day of South-South Cooperation, and we couldn't agree more! 🙌   The Zero Hunger Coalition embodies this spirit through its new South-South dialogues, which provide a platform for countries to support each other by sharing experiences and learning from one another. ✍ While each country faces unique challenges, these dialogues offer invaluable insights that can inform tailored solutions. 🌍 The first of these exchanges, between Benin and Madagascar, brought together national taskforces to discuss their respective approaches to food systems transformation. The insights gained during this session will shape future actions in both countries. You can explore the outcomes below. ⤵   This first dialogue marked the beginning of a series of exchanges between these two countries and others. Our latest Working Paper titled 'Half-time for #SDG #Evidence Generation: Insights from the #DevelopmentEvidencePortal' is out! The authors of this paper provide an overview of effectiveness evidence across the 17 #SDGs using data from 3ie's DEP. The authors find large bodies of evidence for SDGs focused on #poverty, #foodsecurity, #health, and #education, but much more limited evidence on sustainable growth and #environmental stewardship.
