#EnergyLeap is proud to present our first cohort of start-ups! We are delighted to announce that Grassroots Energy is part of our inaugural cohort of high-potential start-ups to help accelerate the growth of versatile, clean hydrogen in India and around the world. Grassroots Energy, founded by Mateen Abdul, Firas Ahmad and Dr. Shyamali Sarma in Bengaluru, is a bioenergy start-up that offers reliable and cost-effective clean fuels such as biogas, biomethane, bio-hydrogen and carbon capture. The team has developed a disruptive, modular hydrogen generation via fermentation from diverse organic residues, and its goal is to produce hydrogen at $1/kg by 2028. Their circular economy hydrogen model has zero residue from the operations. We look forward to all of their amazing work! To accelerate your work in clean hydrogen tech, contact Energy Leap.
