ZALORA volunteers with NGO PAIS Foundation' Ecobrick Sustainability initiative! Waste management and recycling remains a challenge in Southeast Asia with limited processing facilities spread throughout the region, non-urban communities often find themselves facing greater difficulties when it comes to managing their plastic waste. To tackle this, PAIS Foundation, a non-profit institution that focuses on education, children, and the community, partnered with ZALORA, to highlight the importance of processing and reusing discarded plastic waste into simple yet practical ecobricks that benefit small communities. 18 Zalorians visited PAIS' Curug Edufarm Center located in Tangerang, Indonesia. By reusing everyday waste that can be found in our homes and around our neighbourhoods, the volunteers reused discarded plastic bottles to create sturdy foundations for fences and farming. Smiles all around at ZALORA! Our Indonesian Zalorians recently had the opportunity to learn more about their dental health with Dr Safira Faris from JIVAS Group. During the session, Dr Faris shared insightful dental tips and had a lively Q&A session with our inquistive Zalorians. Our Zalorians also had the opportunity for a quick checkup in our office, to better understand their personal dental health. Last month, we hosted the ZALORA Seller Conference 2024 at Meta’s Kuala Lumpur office, where we explored how our brand partners can expand their reach and grow their brands through ZALORA's marketing solutions. The conference featured in-depth discussions on emerging trends in eCommerce and online retail and introduced Meta’s new Managed Partner Ads (MPA). This innovative feature simplifies the creation and management of Meta ads through the ZALORA Advertising Platform (ZAP). During the event, we also celebrated our top brand partners with an awards ceremony, acknowledging their outstanding contributions.We hope everyone enjoyed the opportunity to connect with a diverse network of ZALORA sellers and both the ZALORA and Meta teams! ZALORA Celebrates Southeast Asian countries' Independence and National Days Last month, Zalorians celebrated Singapore’s 59th Birthday! With over 50 Zalorians and their families being treated to a breathtaking aerial view of the parade and celebrations, the office brimmed with excitement and joy! Complete with a popcorn station alongside traditional snacks, everyone had a great time celebrating! Continuing the excitement in Singapore, Zalorians also celebrated Indonesia's 78th Independence Day. In the office, our Zalorians had an exciting round of games, quizzes, tasty food, and amazing prizes! Dressed in white and red, the colours of the Indonesian flag, they filled the office with laughter and joy! A huge shoutout to our local Z Happiness Committees for setting up the beautiful décor and creating such a fun atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who attended and celebrated these special occasions with us!
