One battery to unite them all- 20 000 failures to deliver power once again.

One battery to unite them all- 20 000 failures to deliver power once again.

So tell me once again how good this SA battery really is?

"One day" sigh! - People (and the governments) will work out that, without renewables and batteries actually "on the premises", it doesn't matter how big the battery is or how big the renewable power generation is, if you don't get the power to the door for the premises then they are a useless asset.

Yet we see Victoria now providing massive incentives to just supply half of the equation to help eliminate most blackouts to homes by only providing solar rebates. Good for  that warm and fuzzy let re-elect these people feeling but not much else.

Electrically we are dooming ourselves to a generation system that isn't sustainable no matter how green it looks. Any centralized system still need wires which fall down in storms. Any half plan to supply the renewables but not the batteries only solved part of a complex equation. (That really isn't that complex if you understand power distribution and consumers needs)
