The Power of Partnerships: Collaborate Well and ELEVATE Your Events

By: Craig Caron , Chief Operating Officer

At 360 Destination Group, we are absolutely convinced that the right partnerships are the foundation of every successful event.

Throughout the years, we have developed collaborative partnerships that allow us to create more than the sum of the parts. We choose to work with those who share our values and strategic vision, creating memorable experiences that exceed expectations. Our industry thrives on teamwork, and we’re proud to work alongside pros who are dedicated to delivering joy and meaning to our clients and their groups.

Collaborating With Our Hotel Partners

DMCs need to have a very clear idea of the optimal group profile that will fit into a certain type of property. If the hotel has a quiet, get away from-it-all vibe, for example, you wouldn’t match that up with a younger demographic looking to party and celebrate. Instead, we’d opt for a more lively, happening spot that offers the right space for meetings and lots of nightlife options. With a little research, you’ll find there is a perfect spot for every group.

Another key consideration when choosing a hotel partner? Budget. Some properties have on-site event spaces separate from the main building. They may be just a short walk away but can feel like a whole other world. These spaces offer cost-effective solutions while maintaining the event's charm and can help meet F&B minimums.

Service Levels Are Key

Hotels appreciate having supplier partners with teams of competent and service-savvy professionals. Many of our 360DG staff have had top notch training through Forbes 5-star Travel Guide, Luxury Language, and FranklinCovey, and that enhances the working relationship we develop with properties. Exceptional service is what we bring to the table and what sets us apart, giving us an advantage in a competitive field.

Long-term relationships with suppliers are built on mutual understanding, honest communication, and a shared vision for success.

Mastering the Site Visit

One of our initiatives was revamping the site tour experience, increasing our ability to meet everyone’s needs. By incorporating the client’s objectives, we can build immersive and educational experiences, proving we are trusted advisors in the market.

Negotiation

Negotiating plays an important role in the process of getting an event to fruition. It’s all about give and take – working in good faith and knowing your must-haves in advance. Each stakeholder has to feel satisfied when the final discussions are over and the contract is signed.

Boundaries

We know our role and lane as a partner and don’t overstep. Sometimes, the match between partners isn’t optimal, and we mutually decide not to move forward. It’s all about finding the right fit.

Supplier Partners: y'all are the Bee's Knees

Elevating the quality and experience of an event often requires multiple suppliers. Collaboration is key when you’re involving a lot of different entities and here again is why partnerships matter. Great relationships allow us to rely on our suppliers to pull out all the stops when it's needed most.

Changing out linens two hours before showtime? No problem! Replacing a vehicle because of a flat tire en route to a venue? Another driver will be on the way. And who hasn’t had to deal with sudden weather issues when torrential rain turns your al fresco event space into a paddling pool!

Unforeseen challenges and last minute changes are an integral part of the DMC business model. The power of partnerships means our trusted partners are there for us, alleviating the stress involved in putting on extraordinary events.

Client Partners

Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. By aligning with their goals and exceeding their expectations, we forge lasting partnerships that are the cornerstone of our success. We appreciate all the trust they put in our ability to be the best ever – every single time.

At 360 Destination Group, we understand that it's not just about planning events; it's about building relationships that stand the test of time and the unexpected. Let us be your partner in creating extraordinary moments that leave a lasting impact.
