Advance Rockhampton launches 2022 Business Events Famil

Rockhampton is recognised globally as the economic heart of Central Queensland and is increasingly becoming a destination of choice for conferences, sporting events and expos.

Aligning with Advance Rockhampton’s economic development and visitor economy strategy, our tourism unit are promoting the Rockhampton Region as a destination for corporate meetings, incentives, conferences and business events.

Partnering with Tourism Australia for a second year as part of their Business Events Boost Program, we have created the ultimate Rockhampton Business Events Famil in June 2022 that will see professional conference organisers and national event managers travel to Rockhampton for a three night, three day showcase of our region.

Limited to 7 attendees, this intimate famil will cover everything from touring venues like Rockhampton Museum of Art, as well as the Pilbeam Theatre and Rockhampton Showgrounds. You’ll experience the region as your delegates would with a sunset river cruise, meerkat encounter at the Rockhampton Zoo and tour of Capricorn Caves. You’ll enjoy a treetop breakfast with an On-Country experience, sample a quality steak in the Beef Capital and indulge in an ‘All Stars Dinner’ that showcases three of the region’s top caterers and styling companies. Delegates will also attend the Rockhampton Jaguar Land Rover Pop-Up Polo to meet event organisers and witness firsthand our local suppliers activate a 2,000+ event.

• Dates: Thursday 2nd June 2022 – Sunday 5th June 2022
• Times: Arrive into Rockhampton by approx. 4.00pm on Thursday 2nd June and depart by approx. 4.00pm Sunday 5th June
• Cost: Travel, accommodation, meals and transport covered
• Applications: Applications close COB Friday 11th March 2022
