Earlier this month Samsung Ads India's Head of Sales, Nishit Kanchan, shared insights on how smart TVs are transforming the advertising landscape at the iMedia Brand Summit in Jaipur India.

With millions of smart TVs across the APAC region, the rise in adoption and streaming opens new doors for advertisers, such as premium, brand-safe content through native ads and free ad-supported streaming services. During his presentation, Nishit spoke about technologies like ACR (Automatic Content Recognition) within smart TVs that can provide real-time insights into viewer behavior. Furthermore, he spoke about interactive ad formats and how they can enhance viewer interaction and drive commerce.

Earlier this month Samsung Ads brought the future of television to the OMG Agency Living Room Experience in Singapore with an insightful masterclass on the world of CTV and how audience behaviors are fundamentally reshaping the way we view TV.

The showcase of Samsung Ads' pioneering technologies and products designed to enhance CTV advertising effectiveness and;

The AdNews Australia Emerging Leaders 2024 Program

This month, Samsung Ads Australia was thrilled to be a partner for AdNews Australia' Emerging Leaders 2024 program. A huge congratulations to all the talented individuals who were shortlisted. These finalists represent the best and brightest across the media, marketing, and advertising industries.

This week (on August 28), the Samsung Ads team is excited to join these talented individuals The team will join them on August 28 at the State Library in Melbourne where 20 Emerging Leaders will be announced from the pool of finalists. This year's awards have been judged by esteemed leaders from major industry associations like the MFA, IMAA, IAB, and Unltd. We can't wait to see who will rise to the top!

This month, we were very excited to have a new member join the Samsung Ads APAC team. We are thrilled to welcome Ritika Darira, the new head of Marketing for Samsung Ads & Samsung TV Plus India.

Earlier in August, Ritika was even able to come out to the Australian office! It was a great opportunity for the Sydney team to meet Ritika and spend time with her as we dived into collaborative sessions. Moving forward, aim to continue strengthening and expanding the Samsung Ads brand and enhance our Samsung TV Plus reach within the APAC region. Watch this space, and welcome aboard, Ritika!
