LISC NY is proud to announce the successful closing of a predevelopment loan in partnership with Legacy Landmark Holdings LLC to bring affordable housing to Buffalo’s Willert-Pratt neighborhood. In collaboration with C & R Housing, Inc., this historic adaptive reuse project at 273 Hickory Street will provide 29 affordable apartments, including 15 one-bedroom and 14 two-bedroom units, accessible to families earning up to 80% of the area median income. The construction project, financed by a mix of loan proceeds from The Community Preservation Corporation, will also offer 5,000 square feet of commercial space dedicated to local non-profits supporting the community.
