🎊 Thank you to all who turned out for our event last evening (Interview Anxiety? Prescriptions for Success!)!! Thank you also to our expert speakers from Petros, Inc., Jeani Hynes and Michael Hynes for putting on such an informative, engaging, and fun Event (you're both definitely "yellow sweaters")!! A few event highlights: 🌉 Rapport building is crucial - engage in a manner that makes the other person want to continue a conversation, not run away 🤝🏼 Hand shakes are important - work on having a firm one (not one that is limp, a vice grip, or differs by gender of the person whose hand you're shaking); 💛 Conversational Style matters - Be a "Yellow Sweater" (speak with enthusiasm and confidence), not a "Mindless Minion" (don't speak in monotone with no sense of passion) ⏱️ 60 Second Practice Sessions - Loved the high level of engagement by participants in practicing the difference between communicating as a "mindless minion" vs as a "yellow sweater" ❓ If you attended the event, please share a highlight that you took away! Check out our next events on the RAPS Twin Cities Chapter LinkedIn Page, or the Chapter events page Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) LinkedIn Page!
