Congratulations to the 98 young professionals who completed our Youth Employment Program!🦋 The Youth Employment Program is part of our Healthy Neighborhoods Healthy Families initiatives and provides individuals ages 16 to 24 with paid work experiences throughout the summer. The purpose of this program is to provide youth and young adults opportunities to learn, build their skills and gain valuable work experience in a health care setting! #HealthyNeighborhoodsHealthyFamilies #HNHF #LifeAtNCH

Our Upward Bound Math & Science students have been busy this summer! During their annual symposium, they showed off their poster presentations about STEM topics, artwork, songwriting and their future college choices. Nationwide Children’s Hospital recently received the Partnership Award from the Appalachian Children Coalition for advancing quality care and support for children in the Appalachian Ohio region. Back in 2020, Nationwide Children's Hospital, in partnership with United Way of Central Ohio, launched its first tax clinic and helped 54 families complete tax returns. This year, the team helped over 1000 families that saved a total of nearly $1.8 million in tax refunds.
