TCT-DNB is part of the Cyber Resilience & Crisis Management Department of De Nederlandsche Bank N.V. (DNB). Our mission is to increase the cyber resilience in the financial sector in the Netherlands and Europe by providing strategic cyber intelligence, high-end frameworks for the execution of threat intelligence based ethical red teaming and test management for guiding these cyber resilience tests.
TCT-DNB developed the treat intelligence based ethical red teaming (TIBER) framework in 2016 and has launched an additional framework in 2024, the Advanced Red Teaming (ART) framework. The ART framework supports a more modular approach to adopt the size of the test to match with the size of the specific learning exercise.
Through this LinkedIn account we share insights and updates regarding the threat intelligence based ethical red teaming frameworks that are developed and supported by TCT-DNB. When using these frameworks (financial) entities are enabled to perform red teaming and penetration tests in a controlled way. The realistic test scenarios – developed based on threat intelligence – provide enhanced learning insights to further improve their cyber resilience measures. TCT-DNB also provides a knowledge sharing platform for all connected financial entities where general test findings, good practices and intelligence information is shared in a secure environment.
