Children, adolescents, young adults, and their families may require psychoeducational evaluation for many different reasons. Is your child struggling in school and you're wondering why? Does your child require testing for private school admission? Does your adolescent or young adult require an evaluation for accommodations on SAT, ACT, GRE, or other standardized testing? My goal with every client is to develop a full and complex profile of strengths and weaknesses through psychoeducational evaluation so that their families and schools may provide them with the support and enrichment that they need to meet their potential.

The expectation in the counseling relationship is for honesty with a commitment of growth, healing, and self-discovery. My approach to counseling is that of person-centered and goal-oriented. My focus is to help clients determine his or her level of need and their commitment to developing the coping skills needed to improve upon their issues. I currently am a mental health and D&A counselor. My credentials include Certified Advanced Alcohol and a Drug Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional. I have many years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and families and groups.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My clients not only have mental health disorders, but they have substance use disorders as well. My clients goals are typically to develop coping skills to manage their disorders in order to live healthy and fulfilling lives.

Michael graduated from Bryn Mawr College with a Masters in Social Work, and employed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for past 30 years. He provides therapy with couples, individuals, and families. Michael engages each client by identifying his/her needs and concerns, and exploring a better path forward.

I am here to work with you to achieve your counseling goals. I bring 25 years of healthcare experience working with: healthcare needs, crisis intervention, behavioral health assessments and brief counseling. I want to work with you to achieve your goals through multiple counseling modalities. After an assessment of your needs and goals, we will work together towards achieving your goals in an open, honest and safe environment. I counsel individuals who are age 18 years of age and older. I provide tele-health and in person appointments. No walk ins. Appointments are necessary.
