As a counselor and mental health therapist, I help individuals, married couples, and families along their journeys. Together we collaborate to develop a treatment plan tailored just for you, and then follow through with achieving your goals.

Everyone deserves help, including you. It can be beneficial to talk with someone who has an independent perspective. My previous work experience includes conducting individual, family and group therapy at Tecumseh State Correctional Institution, Reception and Treatment Center, Nebraska Correctional Center for Women and within the emergency department at CHI Health Center - Immanuel. I have experience working with addiction and substance abuse issues as well as clients whose gender identity, socioeconomic class, race, or ethnicity have historically been marginalized.

Now accepting new clients for Telehealth. Success finding the right therapist for you or a family member can be a stressful process. My mission is to make that easier for you. I strive to create a comfortable environment where the client feels safe to process life's challenges. I have worked with youth of all ages, parents, and the family unit for over 20 years. I am ideally suited to provide therapeutic skills related to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, general mood and anxiety disorders, youth/teen issues, young adults, parent-child relationships, attachment issues, and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy for ages 0-50.

Chances are, you're actually a capable, talented, and lovable person dealing with a crappy situation (or bunch of situations) or life just isn't what you want it to be. I want to understand how you see yourself, explore what isn't working, and define what success means for you (not what others' or society has told you). We will explore the ways you've overcome hard things before and test out new tools, until we find what works specifically for you. My most important job is to reflect your strengths and beauty back to you and help you put these skills to work.

I understand that life presents many challenges. My goal is for my clients to develop peace with themselves, calmness, tranquility, confidence, and strength. I believe if you want to help others heal, love them unconditional.

Counseling provides a safe place to resolve many of the symptoms of emotional and physical stress related to addiction, depression, anxiety or trauma. Through relationship counseling, people learn how to reconnect after conflict and discover the power of truly listening to others in conversation. Helping people learn how to respond rather than react in close and intimate relationships, resolving conflict through healthy communication.

I appreciate people who care and are engaged, but may need a little help. We are all intelligent, creative, funny and loving. Sometimes, all you need is help finding that path. I like people who are willing to be open and give it a try. This may look like an individual looking to face changes, or maybe a couple looking to learn how to communicate or find that lost spark. In other cases, this may involve business partners or family members learning how to trust one another. I like to work with people who are willing to do the work.

Life seems really good, right? Your family loves you. You love them too. You love your job, have a great career, or you are are working towards one. yet you feel sad, scared, hurt and lonely. You want to be happy, joyful and hopeful about life. Days and nights all run together and life seems meaningless and without purpose. Your relationships are not fulfilling. You have crying spells but you wear a game face like everything is going great. It's time to find joy and happiness. it's time to build and enjoy nurturing relationships.

My practice focuses on helping adolescents, adults, families, and couples who struggle with a multitude of issues. Whether you’re experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, behavioral or impulse control issues, life transitions, or communication breakdowns, I am here to help. I have 18 years of experience working with children and families in a behavioral health setting and I truly enjoy helping people make positive changes in their lives.

As the parent of a child/teen that struggles with their wounded selves, you have tried everything. The exhaustive interventions that you have tried are going nowhere fast. Throwing in the towel is all that you have left. Your marriage is more daunting than it is invigorating and you keep hitting a wall with connecting to one another. Depression has you stuck in quicksand and the struggle is consuming you. Anxiety has its grip on you and it is controlling your life. You find yourself asking what more can you do? You feel all alone in your struggles and are having more moments of frustration than joy. Asking for help is hard.

Hi, my name is Megan Wolff. I am a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Provisionally Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Nebraska. In Iowa, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I am ready to help you on your journey. I help individuals with mental health concerns, substance use concerns, and co-occurring disorders.

“There is no darkness without a light”. We all have experienced, at one time or another emotional darkness. Therapy is the way to walk you through the light. I am here to support you. Therapy with me is a collaborative effort. I provide a free judgement zone and you are entitled to every emotion. It is not easy seeking help and I’m proud of you starting your process in finding a provider. Together we will work to create a safe space where you can grow, heal, and reach the light. My goal is to assist individuals through life’s challenges.

Currently full and filling waitlist. Northside Behavioral Health Group has other providers with immediate availability. It is important to build a positive and candid therapeutic relationship first. My therapy partner, Grayson the Golden Retriever (picture below), is also on hand to provide comfort (if desired) during our therapeutic partnership. I work with teens, college students, and adults to assist in times of transition, new relationships, past relationships, and stress. I look forward to being a valuable part of your process.
