Therapy is one avenue to building a life that is more authentic, connected, and filled with meaning. My goal as a therapist is to co-create a space that is warm and safe where you can approach issues from a strengths-based lens, and where curiosity and creativity can flourish. As a therapist, I value my unique relationship with each client, and I am deeply grateful to be able to witness growth, meaning-making, and changes that positively impact a client’s life. Therapy is a unique, personal, and specific journey, and I am humbled and eager to be on that journey with each individual client with whom I work.

Hello! Due to a focus on other offerings, I do not have psychotherapy openings. However, I am accepting new clients (Telehealth) for the Safe and Sound Protocol and mindfulness training. My psychotherapy approach is rooted in mindfulness, relational systems, trauma and nervous system informed intervention. Over the past several years I have trained in newer frameworks, including EMDR, Polyvagal Theory-informed therapy, somatic and sensory experiencing, as well as other trauma-informed techniques.

Life is sometimes overwhelmingly heavy. The seemingly random moments of increased heart rate and shortness of breath. The feeling of drowning (and sometimes floating) that fogs your mind. The inability to make a clear decision - or to just get through things in a rush because you can’t think clearly anyway. The having to backtrack because “Wait..what just happened?” The lack of appetite and sleepless nights. The increased appetite and the deepest sleep after the tears. How much would you treasure having a clear mind again?

Life is hard, and can seem overwhelming at times. We may often feel lost, afraid, stressed, anxious, overwhelmed and have low energy. Our relationships may be suffering and our family life chaotic; our work may not be fulfilling and our careers may not be what we thought. We may have even wondered is there any chance to make this life better, or are we just stuck where we are. Well, the great news is you are exactly where you should be right now, and tomorrow can be better than today. You are taking the appropriate next step!

Virtual Visits are possible. Sometimes the demands of everyday life can be overwhelming. Relationships, work, and daily life can be difficult to navigate when we are stuck in symptoms. But you don't have to let issues negatively impact your life. We will work together to move you out of the difficulties and on to better living. My treatment style is collaborative, using a non-judgmental approach, with achievable goals to help develop effective coping skills and reduce symptoms.

Due to societal tension, we are experiencing increased anxiety & depression. As a licensed clinical psychologist in both NY and PA, I am trained in providing therapy to help cope with feelings that accompany such stressful times. I work with individuals, couples, families & adolescents. We can find solutions that will improve your quality of life & your relationships, as you adapt to a new normal or fix ongoing issues. Fees are affordable, as I do not take insurance. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with those who have intellectual challenges, (like autism), &/or their families.

After struggling with anxiety or depression for long enough, you may start to feel stuck. Anxiety and depression can make us think and act in ways that ironically leave us feeling even more anxious and depressed, creating a kind of "vicious cycle." Fortunately, advances in evidence-based therapies have given rise to interventions that can reliably interrupt this cycle, so you can stop struggling and start living.
