I provide trauma-informed psychotherapy to teen and adult clients. I consider my areas of specialty to be women and LGBTQ+ folks with anxiety disorders, childhood trauma, and relational conflicts. I also work with clients experiencing grief and loss, life transitions, gender and sexuality discovery, and I have a specialized training in treating survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Licensed in both PA and NJ, I specialize in working with clients who identify as self-aware, and often highly intelligent, but somehow still find themselves repeating the same patterns over and over again. You feel like you understand "why" you are the way you are but can't seem to get unstuck. I find that there are often unconscious negative beliefs that we hold about ourselves that are unintentionally holding us back. I use a combination of parts work, attachment-based therapy, and trauma-based therapy to support clients in getting unstuck and reaching their goals.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a dual doctorate in clinical and health psychology. I provide evidence-based, goal-oriented individual therapy services for adults with various mental health needs, such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. I also have specialized training in behavioral medicine, including assessing and treating insomnia and emotional distress due to acute and chronic illness.

My therapeutic role at the Social Enrichment Center, a center specializing in social and behavioral therapy, offers me unique experience working with a spectrum of emotional, social, and behavioral manifestations related to autism, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I have six years of experience working with autism, anxiety, and depressive disorder, so I strive to help clients understand and manage dynamic emotions. I often facilitate awareness and identification of each clients’ thoughts and internal monologue during sessions because I have specialized training in cognitive-behavioral therapy.

My client and service focus is on individuals or entities seeking treatment, psychological evaluations, risk assessment, expert witness representation, and related services for sexual misconduct, sexual abuse, sexual victimization, or trauma. I have worked in various settings, from helping students better learn when addressing their emotional needs to providing family reunification services to people who have been formerly incarcerated. More Than Just Talk....... If you haven't been in psychotherapy before, you may not realize that the traditional approach to treatment is to educate the client about their conditions and teach them how to change their own feelings and behaviors. Although this approach can be very helpful, it is usually a long process that depends a great deal on the individual's courageous persistence. Moreover, a change in behavior and belief does not necessarily resolve the history of negative experiences fueling such things as depression and anxiety. These are some of the reasons I offer "More Than Just Talk".

I am a Christian counselor who can help individuals, families and couples overcome hurdles in their lives.
