💥 This child was lucky to survive. 💥 A six-year-old boy in the Eastern Cape fell into a broken pit toilet at his school—and only just made it out alive. Shockingly, this isn’t the first time. Another child fell in just months earlier. 😡 How many more close calls will it take? Thousands of schools across South Africa are still forcing children to use dangerous, undignified pit toilets. These are disasters waiting to happen. At Breadline Africa, we’re on a mission to change this. Since last year, we’ve demolished over 400 pit toilets at schools, replacing them with decent, dignified flushing toilet facilities.
