"Without Water there is No Beer!" Water is not just essential for beer production – it’s a precious resource that needs our protection. Reflecting back on our World Water Day Immersion on March 21st, we’re proud of the incredible collaboration between The Nature Conservancy , WWF South Africa, and other key stakeholders. Together, we’ve helped restore 3.3 billion liters of water by clearing invasive vegetation. Let's raise a glass to our unwavering commitment and our united efforts to safeguard and restore our precious water resources. Together, we’re ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy this vital resource. #WorldWaterDay #CheersToNature AB InBev ; Zoleka L. ; Richard (Boris) Rivett-Carnac ; Michel Doukeris ; Ingrid De Ryck ; Geordin Hill-Lewis ; Kyle Day

As we look forward to celebrating World Water Day tomorrow the 22nd of March, we today showcased our water conservation efforts with our key partners and stakeholders at the Boland Mountain Nature Reserve. South Africa faces significant water loss due to invasive alien vegetation, such as Black Wattle, Eucalyptus, and Pine, which consume up to 60% more water than indigenous plants. Through targeted conservation efforts, SAB and it’s partners have cleared large tracts of these invasive species, restoring billions of litres of water to the ecosystem. By clearing invasive alien vegetation, we release more water into catchment areas, benefiting our whole value chain, including farmers, retailers and local communities. #CheersToNature #WorldWaterDay

Day 1 at the Proudly South African Buy Local Summit & Expo was a powerful showcase of South African excellence, innovation, and economic resilience. From engaging discussions to dynamic exhibitions, the day reinforced the critical role of localisation in strengthening South Africa’s economy. As we celebrate 130 years of commitment to local sourcing and sustainable supply chains, our presence at the summit reflects our dedication to driving economic growth and supporting homegrown businesses. A key highlight was the “Building a Resilient Economy Through Localisation” panel discussion, where Kgosi Mogotsi, SAB’s Stakeholder and Government Affairs Director, shared key insights on creating jobs, empowering local industries, and fostering long-term economic impact.
