The satellite was launched in July, but after its transfer to orbit, the team saw some connection difficulties. After more than eight years, we are sad to say goodbye to the APEX Ventures Founding Partner, Christoph Kanneberger Kannenberger. Christoph is one of the original founders of APEX Ventures, and he has always been passionate about FinTech, which was a key part of our original investment strategy. A passionate advocate for FinTech innovation, Christoph’s expertise contributed significantly to successful exits like Lendflow (2018) and ongoing investments in Elucidate and Morpher. Beyond deal execution, he provided valuable guidance in startup financing, valuation, and performance measurement. One of his most rewarding roles was engaging in dialogue with our LPs in his Investor Relations capacity. As APEX Ventures has strategically reinforced its focus towards European Deep Tech, Christoph has decided to pursue other professional ventures that better align with his current interests, where he can once again put his experience as a former investment banker to greater use. We are deeply grateful for Christoph's dedication and leadership throughout his tenure at APEX Ventures. His contributions have been essential in shaping the firm's trajectory. We wish him all the best in his next chapter. As a co-founder and investor, Christoph will always remain a friend of APEX Ventures. As the APEX Ventures team evolves, our dedication to our funds, LPs, and portfolio companies remains unwavering.
